they didn't just rap. they played instruments while they rapped. at the sasquatch festy in 07 they played their entire set with MCA on bass, ad rock on guitar and turntable/keyboards, and Mike D on drums. I still think of that live set when I listen to the albums. it was pretty unforgettable.

I have no problem with it. They had good intentions and I liked what they did.
