Chargers signed Kyle Boller

Seems like a good idea. Sign a guy who's not good enough to play arena football to be your backup. I'm glad he's someone else's problem this year, particularly a division rival.

BillSelfsTrophycase 07-28-2012 12:43 AM

Brandon Flowers likes this

Rasputin 07-28-2012 12:44 AM

Good for them, long live Norv may he keep his job 4life.

Jiu Jitsu Jon 07-28-2012 12:44 AM

Can you imagine if Rivers goes down for some reason? Hilarity will ensue. Oh, how I would like to see them suffer through the trainwreck that is Kyle Boller.

Hammock Parties 07-28-2012 12:47 AM

So if Rivers goes down, we could earn some bullshit wins against the Chargers. Great.

Hey, we both benefit from this. Personally, I believe it will be between the Raiders and the Chiefs for the AFC west this year. I don't believe Peyton will be the same as he was a few years ago.

They won it last year with Tim ****ing Tebow, if Manning's even 1/8 of what he was, we're fooked

Except I don't foresee Manning rushing for yards. He's a statue, not a running back that occasionally throws passes. If Manning can even last throughout the entire regular season I'll be surprised.

BoltWalt 07-28-2012 01:02 AM

He is just a fill in for training camp with Charlie Whitehurst hurt for a couple of weeks, there are no long term plans to keep him.

He wasn't signed to a one year contract for one million?

TinyEvel 07-28-2012 09:17 AM

They don't need Kyle Boller to do much when they've got Jackie Battle...ohwait..

the Talking Can 07-28-2012 09:44 AM

drafting boller destroyed the Ravens franchise, they have never recovered...that's why you don't take risks

We have a slim chance, Raiders don't have one chance in seven hells. Write it down.

Underline it.

Then staple it to your ****ing forehead.

Dave Lane 07-28-2012 09:57 AM

Maybe with the new management in 2-3 years the Raiders will be reloaded. I'd be pretty surprised if they get to 5 wins this year.

BoneKrusher 07-28-2012 11:04 AM

speaking of the Chargers, ESPN’s Adam Schefter expects San Diego to be a surprise team.
lol way to go out on a limb there Adam. lol

They have had MUCH better teams and failed to get the job done.

thabear04 07-28-2012 01:33 PM

If Rivers goes down is out for the season or he out for a few weeks Kyle Boller wont be the #2 QB most likely he will be #3 or cut #2 QB will be Charlie Whitehurst.

Cassel had horrible states against Boller. The offense only scored 14 points even though they were handed 4 turnovers.

They won because or reeruned miracles like Marion Barber going out of bounds with under 2 minutes left with the Bears in the lead....and then fumbling in Denver territory in overtime.

Aren't you the guy who said the chiefs should win more games this year and pointed out how they won 7 games last year?

****ing hypocrite.

RavensInsider

Former Ravens quarterback Kyle Boller has retired one day after being signed by the Chargers, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune

007 07-28-2012 05:58 PM

Like Boller would ever see the field this year. LMAO

When does Rivers ever miss any time.

EDIT

Guess he will not see the field for certain now.

Hammock Parties 07-28-2012 06:04 PM

Hahahaha. Thanks for giving us that bullshit win, hoser.

Jiu Jitsu Jon 07-28-2012 10:13 PM

Wow, not even Kyle Boller wants to be a Charger.

Munson 07-28-2012 10:35 PM

The thought of possibly playing against Matt Cassel was too much to handle.
