Something I saw on vacation(no pics included)
So we're at the Horseshoe Casino in Tunica,Mississippi enjoying the brunch buffet when I walked passed a table that had one adult woman and four kids.No big deal at first and then I saw two plates heaped with perfectly good food off to the side of the table and the kids now grazing on all sorts of dessert selections.
Within a few minutes a bus boy came by and took the plates of heaping food and disposed of them in his trash/plate cart. Why am I starting a thread on this topic, because it irritated the hell out of me and I told the mrs had that been me as a kid my parents would've said oh hell no,you got it you can eat it. Overall with the current state of things it just hit me as to how much waste there is and I just wished some people would be held more accountable for how much of it they do and/or allow their kids to do. |

no! not on my watch!
grandaughter asked for ice cream saturday night. i said, "no! you don't get any ****in ice cream, cause you didn't eat your ****in supper! jfc, there's ****in kids starving out there and you left 3/4 a plate of good ****in food. it aint like we can throw it out to the ****in dog anymore, cause grandma ran over the ****in thing last week!" so we had popcorn instead. sec |
Tough one. You don't want kids to waste food, but you don't want them to become fat asses either

Was the adult Woman hot? Let's focus on the important stuff here, how were her tits?

I really need some pictures to fully understand what happened here.

"Take all you want, but eat all you take."
However, isn't the entire point of a buffet gluttony? |

Of course, seeing the deserts eliminates that obviously. Granted what you saw was terrible and wasteful, more due to poor parenting. Hopefully her kids won't grow up to be like her. Doesn't all that crap in those places taste the same anyway? |
Buffets are a whole different animal, but on a related point I wish restaurants would serve reasonable sample sizes. I'm not a small individual, and I often bring home an entire second meal as a doggie bag from restaurants. I understand why they do it, but I wish they wouldn't.

With my kids, we're pretty clear with them beforehand that desert is fine, but they have to eat their supper first....for our kids, that works pretty well. Our youngest will usually eat about half of her supper and then want desert....but once we say not until she eats her supper, she finishes it off.
Only a few times has one of the little ones had to sit there with cold food in front of them while the others ate desert. |

I saw a show on TV and they talked about one of the big Las Vegas buffets and they use all the leftovers at a local pig farm. I'm sure most buffets have a way to recycle leftovers.

I was doing a field service call in malaysia, went to a Mongolian grill,
all you could eat for what ever and you cooked it at you table fun but they weighed any left over food and charged you for it |
Pics or it didn't happen.

This applies to much more than just "cleaning your plate", but every time I see someone's precious little devil spawned heathen in public it reminds me to thank my parents for doing it right.

You can't have any pudding if you don't eat your meat.
If you don't eat your meat, how can you have any pudding? |
If you don't eat yer meat, you can't have any pudding! How can you have any pudding if you don't eat yer meat!
|
If you don't eat yer meat, you can't have any pudding! How can you have any pudding if you don't eat yer meat!
|
If you beat yer meat, you can't have any poontang! How can you have poontang if you beat yer meat!
|
If you can't swallow the pudding, you must take in more meat.
If you take in too much more meat, How can you swallow all that pudding. |
