Bowe Is a Throw-Away
He doesn't want to be in KC. He probably won't be here next season. But we have Bowe this year and he has incentive to perform.
I remember the immaturity Bowe demonstrated his first years in the league, a real head case. Essentially he still has that immaturity, and his hold out demonstrates that. It also demonstrates his low level of commitment to the team. I agree with not giving him long term big money because he is not that elite, command performer (still too many drops, and inconvenient disappearances). We will see him demonstrate that fact again this season. However I will root for him to prove me wrong. |
Why are people allowed to start threads before 1000 posts?

You're a ****ing throw away.

You remember his immaturity and how he used to be a head case? Got any examples, or is this just some stupid bullshit you decided to post?

I just don't think they should be able to do that before 1000 posts.

It wasn't a hold out

This is just the same old stuff people post when they are completely clueless.

Oh come on people. You act like NO VETERAN CHIEFS player has EVER done this! Wake up your fricking minds! Tony Gonzales did this in 2002 after he got tagged. Sat out most of training camp then sighed a longer term deal later. It's not that hard to figure out. He knows hew wasn't getting a new deal right away so he milked the situation as much as he could. Vets on other teams have done the same thing and will continue to do so. It's not rocket science.

Where are all these reeruns coming from? |
I don't live in Kansas City anymore and from an out of town view point it does seem like Bowe is holding out when he could be productive. Just cause you holding out doesn't prevent you from being a team player. He has to know that he's a marked man and that he's stuck with the Chiefs for at least 1 more year. They should of had this all worked out before the pre-season. Both him and the team.

Essentially in the NFL a 1 year contract is in the teams favor, Bowe has literally millions of reasons to go out and perform week in and week out. Whether he does that to win games as a Chief or just cash in for a payday who cares? Don't get me wrong, Id like to see Bowe signed to a long term deal, but a 1 year tender accomplishes the same thing, we get Bowe as a Chief contributor (sorry for the lame pun) in 2012, and get another year of evalution of both his abilities and attitude. I love the guy. No homo. |
Some fans think Bowe is going to sign a long term deal in KC. That ship has sailed in Bowe's eyes. He is only here to do the season and get ready for Miami.

Bowe is a class act, had one little incident.
Best WR the Chiefs ever had. Just had a shitty QB his whole career. |
If I say your mom is a throwaway, is that too much?

Every ****ing year when the season comes around the trolls come out of hiding.
I think I might have to come up with a test that all n00bs have to take in order to make threads. 100 multiple choice questions for posting rights. Maybe I should ask Rainman to do it. |

I can see how he wouldn't want to be here IF he feels like the organization is screwing him, but to say he is a throw away is a going a little too far.
