I am holding hope he will be fine for the opener.

at least that means they are trying something else
better a walking boot than surgery I still don't understand how they can not know what's wrong injuries to the foot can be such a problem |

Welcome to faboulousssss las vegas

And Carr has a great game for Dallas this weekend....
|
Can't believe there are so many ****s here who seem to revel in the Chiefs' misfortunes
|
What a ****ing pussy.

When McFadden sprained his foot he also used a walking boot. I don't think he ever had surgery. Hate to say it but Clay might have been right. Pioli is really going to take some heat if Routt is the #1 CB this season. |

It seems like it's more important for them to talk shit and troll people than it is to see their team win. |

and Travis Daniels has a lingering groin injury
****ing piece of garbage Jalil Brown is going to get owned by Julio Jones or Roddy White and Im gonna break my television |
A walking boot is to provide comfort and to lessen the probability of injuring it even more. I bet he's back by the opener.
|
sure...of course...we're the chiefs
from top-10 defense to decimated secondary and no hali in the blink of an eye... |

You've got to understand that those ****ers consider themselves football personnel Einsteins. They piss and moan about every move the Chiefs make, and regale everyone with long-winded diatribes about how they would run the team, and how much better off the Chiefs would be if only they were the GM or coach. So you see, if the Chiefs suffer misfortune, or lose games, they can proudly crow about their opinions being vindicated, loudly thump their chests, and pretty much just pee all over themselves in happiness. They would much rather see the Chiefs go 0-16 so they can keep pretending like they know what the **** they are talking about, than see the Chiefs win a Super Bowl. |

More bad news....
If Hali, Flowers and Lewis are out....Ryan's gunna torch us. It's not gunna be pretty. DAMNIT. We have to win this game. If not, we're gunna start 0-3 again. |

Routt had the exact same type of season as Carr had last year when he was Namdi's #2 thus earning the #1 in Oakland. People need to get over this Routt thing. Carr was a FA. He wanted #1 money. Not gonna pay two #1 corner salaries. |

Re-signing certain players, Free Agency, Draft, etc. Many people's fears were right. Drafting O-line in the 2nd and 3rd round back to back now has bit us in the ass in terms of depth at other positions. |

Can't say for certain what's going on with Flowers. But don't think they'd make him stand at practice for 2 hrs if he had broken foot |

what team has snowballed like this in back to back seasons to start? I'm not trying to get in panic mode here, but we are losing some good players to start the season, just like last year. Surely there are ways to avoid that or band aid it (i.e. Depth?) No? |

I just think getting off to a great start, like 2010, is essential for this team. Losing the home opener, like last year...well we know what happened. We're gunna be underdogs against Buffalo & New Orleans. It's not a stretch at all to see this team start 0-3 if we lose the opener. |

If you want to try listing the teams that definitely have more than 2 starting caliber safeties and more than 2-3 starting caliber cornerbacks, I'm sure everyone would love to see that. |

Re: Flowers: To me, big issue now is not whether he will play vs Atl. but how effective he will be if he does. Missed a lot of prac time |

Hali doing illegal substances and Flowers' injury are just bad luck. Posted via Mobile Device |

I'm not that worried about it. We are deeper than ever this year. Flowers gets hurt every year and misses some time. Brown looks alright and we have Elam. So far, we haven't lost anyone that we aren't prepared for. For example, if we lose Albert, we're ****ed.

Non-story...I wear walking boots to simply attract attention to myself sometimes.

This Flowers injury is confusing as hell. When it happened the Chiefs played it off like it was no big deal. 3 weeks later.... he is in a walking boot. This hiding injuries BS doesn't give the Chiefs any competitive advantage, all it does is piss off the fans.
The day Chris Kuper got injured the fans were told immediately that he would be out until week 3, same with Hunter but we were told that he would be out 4 months. |
