Now Belcher is hurt.
Adam Teicher @adamteicher
Injury news for #Chiefs: belcher has sore groin, won't practice today Adam Teicher @adamteicher Siler will take Belcher's place |
groin injuries can take forever to heal
 |
Meh.
|
Cool, no missed tackles on Sunday!

Siler gets his chance to show why he's the best tackler on the team now.
|
Siler's the better tackler anyways.
|
Maybe DJ will get the chance to learn a thing or two from Siler.
|
I do like what I see in Siler.
Despite the reeruned pimping of him by teh n00b I think he'll end up better depth. I has no faith in Belcher... |
can Siler stay healthy for an entire game?
|
We all make jokes, but this is horrible news.
|
Well that sucks but is DJ and Flowers on the field today?
|
BlackBrandon rejoices.

And they aren't playing today... |
He'll be fine. And if not, I don't think there would much dropoff from him to Siler. Belcher is nothing special.

PREPARE TO ROLL OUT THE SILER GIFS

Luckily Belcher is the most replaceable guy on the defense IMO. A close 2nd is Lewis. But Brandon Siler should do fine. He's better in coverage anyways.

LOL, Belcher would be a pretty big loss. He wears the speaker in his helmet. He calls the plays on defense. He's the guy Romeo talks to. Belcher makes the reads. Siler is a good back up but that's it. Even Romeo said there was never a competition between the two.
On that note, Belcher will play. He never misses time like the other pussies. Some of you guys are stupid as **** and should listen to what people say. LOL |
Quote:
We might coach, gameplan, and overall play better chess but we can't just line up and expect to win. Romeo knows he's got an elephant sized hole in the secondary and his plan will be gen(i)ous or fall flat on its face... |

Belcher is average...nothing more. Whether he plays or doesn't play, I don't see a huge difference. Some of you build average into "indispensable".
Belcher knows what he is and what he isn't. I don't think he's going to miss any time if he can help it. |

Siler has nothing to do with this. This bet is about you ****tards knowing that DJ is not a great tackler. By not taking the bet, you are saying you agree. |
Quote:
Once again....who is confirming that he misses a tackle? |
Quote:
If you don't take this, then you need to shut the **** up about DJ being a better tackler. It's time to put your money where your mouth is. |

Let me get this straight. If I don't take the bet....I have to shut the **** up about it? This coming from the guy who has already admitted that he based his opinion off of NO ****ing facts? Go **** yourself. I'll keep reminding you that DJ is a better tackler than Siler. Better get used to it. |

(It's almost like wendler/blackbob singled luv out because of their history.) |
Oh good. Another thread where most of the "Belcher is a scrub" whiners got together to share their idiocy. Nice.

Bathe us in the light that is the greatness of teh Belcher... |

People see it. You are a flat out bitch if you keep bringing this up and you are going to fall hard. PM me if you want to take the bet. |

Yep....no one likes me or my discussions around here. |
I haven't gotten into all the bs about dj and the tackling thing, but is there Any player who never misses a tackle? That seems pretty unrealistic. just my .02...

He's not a great tackler though. That would indicate his tackling ability is special. It's not. Other things make him special. Patrick Willis is an example of what I'd say is a great tackler. I want a bigger sample size of Eric Berry, but I love the way he tackles. |
Quote:
Edit: and agree with the EB thing... |
Now....turn that around. If Siler was on the field as much as DJ....in the same starting position.....would he miss as many tackles?
|
Quote:
Getting there is a big part of tackling. It doesn't count as a miss if you're not there to do anything. |
Quote:
2nd play on defense - Routt gets a pass interference penalty 3rd play on defense - Berry pulls a groin 4th play on defense - Gonzo makes a spectacular diving touchdown catch 1st play on offense - Bowe drops a pass 2nd play on offense - Hillis fumbles the ball that leads to another Atlanta TD 3rd play on offense - Daboll calls a run play for DMC up the middle for a 2 yard loss 4th play on offense - Cassel throws a pick 6 CP server takes a dump |

DJ missed 10 tackles last year. One every 104 snaps. It was his best year. Brandon Siler has missed 5 tackles in his last 708 snaps (career). One every 141 snaps. |
I'd rather have Siler instead of Belcher anyways.
Having that said he's not a better tackler than DJ LMAO |

Siler's tackles are so pretty the opposing team will stand around to watch...this is a big boost for the Chiefs!

you haven't provided a single piece of evidence that a bench player is a better tackler than the Franchise record holder for tackles... do you have some secret practice film where Siler demonstrates his awesome tackling technique while DJ takes notes? you ****ing dipshit |

Also, we are comparing Siler's entire career to DJ's BEST YEAR. |

Siler is so awesome.....that he can't win the starting job over Belcher.....for the LB position where tackling and plugging the holes is the main thing that's required.
