Did anyone catch what Norv Turner just said to Drew Brees?
It sounded like he said something about Kansas City, but I couldn't make it out. Seems like a weird subject for him to be speaking about.

he left his face putty cream in kc?
He did say Kansas City, I thought, but I don't know what else.
"At least your fans didn't throw you under the bus like those idiots in Kansas City."
He does say Kansas City, but that's all I can make out.
He definately said something "... In Kansas City"
He said "Your a tad bit better than that Kansas City Quarterback we played last week"

I think he said, "I'll give you a call once I'm settled in Kansas City."
FAX |
Maybe it was, "Geez, I suck. Even Kansas City beat you guys."
Watched this a few times on dvr. Sounds like Norv says to him "you've come a long way since.....(can't understand).... and third in Kansas City." Then Brees smiles and says "that's right."
Did his streak start in KC?
something about the refs call?
I keep rewinding it lol can't understand
Hmmmm..
Color me intrigued. Figure this out, fellas. |

Did Brees get hurt (and end his Chargers stent) in Kansas City? |

"Thank God you weren't traded to Kansas City".
You'd have to figure it would be something like that, SD probably figured since we beat the Saints and SD beat us so badly that this would be a walk in the park.
Maybe he said "They got some great BBQ in Kansas City"
Braes first career start was inkc
I'm sure he said the same thing I've been thinking all night, "How did Kansas City beat the Saints?"
Norv was his offensive coordinator in 2001.

His first NFL action was 2001 hosting KC. Norv was the OC.

Might have had something to do with this game in 2005? The Chiefs knocked the Chargers out of the playoff race on that December day in KC and Brees was just awful in the poor weather. He left the Chargers after that season for the Saints. |
Looking at the scores from back then some things never change except of course the KC/SD game.
