i have already paid for my season tickets. they won't refund me.

i (we) flew a banner today. i have already stated what it will take for me to renew season tickets.

Munson 10-08-2012 01:14 AM

CHunt should be ashamed at how pathetically empty his stadium is.

Solution?

Fire Pioli. Bench Cassel. Draft Geno Smith. :thumb:

i'm just busting your balls man ;)

KCrockaholic 10-08-2012 01:22 AM

I noticed this also. It's a sad, sad thing to witness. Arrowhead is a ghost town these days.

But it's for the greater good. Don't go to games. Don't give Clark your money. Until these clowns want to get serious, **** this franchise.

NJChiefsFan 10-08-2012 01:23 AM

This makes my skin crawl. I know its for the greater good and I fully support the idea of not going and/or buying products as I have done the same, but its still sad to see.

Edit: KCrockaholic beat me to it with basically the same post.

KCrockaholic 10-08-2012 01:27 AM

wow. Imagine what it would have looked like towards the end, if it wasn't a close game.

do you remember ever having such a selection of tickets available for a Chiefs game?

http://kansascity.craigslist.org/sea...min&maxAsk=max

Look at how many Ravens tickets were available on game day. Most of them under face value.

People would rather lose money than waste their time going to a game.

KCrockaholic 10-08-2012 02:10 AM

Good. Let that place rot until Clark wants to get serious.

Arrowhead should be renamed Arrow-dead

Ya,looks the same as the drowning in the mediocrity of the 80s...I know,I was there..Oh the pain.

Looks like the view from my seats.

Ace Gunner 10-08-2012 06:03 AM

I did not know there were so few in attendance. Y'all made some noise though.

I prefer "forkinit".

Bwana 10-08-2012 06:05 AM

But But this just can be! Eric Winston claimed the were 70K+ fan cheering when Matt Cassel went down. I guess they must have showed up late. Yes that must be it.

notorious 10-08-2012 06:07 AM

That stadium is going to get a LOT emptier with the media and one player attacking the fanbase along with the failure at QB.

Bring it on. We are in the right, and they need us a LOT more than we need them.

AussieChiefsFan 10-08-2012 06:10 AM

Don't know how accurate this is, and I guess this could be how many tickets were sold, not attendance. BUT it says there were 68,803 people in attendance vs the Ravens.

bingo

the winston thing, on top of having to live with failures like clark, scott, romeo, and matt just makes me want to check out...

why give my time to these assholes?

InChiefsHeaven 10-08-2012 06:40 AM

There were a LOT of Ravens fans. I met a van load at our tailgate...nice guys. It's funny how people from other places who are fans of other teams have no idea what the problems are with this team. Sometimes you forget that it's a KC thing...there are still people from other fanbases who think Cassel is a decent QB and don't understand the angst. Did my best to explain it to them.

The stadium always looks empty as hell until about 10 minutes after kickoff. I can believe that at it's fullest, it was probably about 60-65k, not packed and the yellow seats stick out like a sore thumb. I was in section 330 and remarked to my buddy about how pitiful it looked right after the National Anthem, but it did fill up more. FWIW. Still not full by a long shot.

redfan 10-08-2012 06:53 AM

Damn, looks like a crowd from Dec. 1987.

007 10-08-2012 07:00 AM

Kickoff isn't teh best time to go by. about 5 minutes into the 1st qtr is when fans are done coming in. Just what I have noticed this year.

What I kept hearing was that song "Shut up and SHOUT" over and over and or Crazy Train. They had to do it more often than any other game I can remember. Like they were desperate to make it sound like the crowd was into it.

MahiMike 10-08-2012 07:45 AM

Looks too full to me. Need half that many. One thing they're doing here in Jax is going to the tailgate party but not going into the stadium. They can still get together and have fun without giving any $ to the franchise.

Yeah, it filled up right after kickoff. People are always late coming in from their tail-gates. That said, it was most likely in the 60K range.

Not really. As Guru said, a lot of people don't show up until 5 minutes or so into the 1st. It's been that way for a few years but it seems even more pronounced this season.

ct 10-08-2012 09:12 AM

It always has seemed to fill up a bit late, tho I only get to 1 game a year.

Yesterday was pretty packed I'd say, not totally but pretty full. Lot of Raven fans, and that has been the trend for years!

Exactly my view as well. I go to one game a year and this one was late to fill up as usual. It was never packed but looked a LOT better than these pictures indicate.

Lots of Ravens fans though.

Were you at the playoff game against the Ravens a couple years ago? JFC, there were Ravens fans EVERYWHERE!

I was at the playoff game in Indianapolis a few years ago. There were Chiefs fans everywhere. My whole section had one or two Colts fans. It was beautiful. I was at a couple bars downtown before the game. All red in there. The Colts fans and the city of Indy was impressed with our fanbase, and also, they were all really nice about it, even after they whooped our ass.

Caseyguyrr 10-08-2012 10:38 AM

whats really sad is usually it takes mid-november to december to get crowds that shitty, this year they were able to do it first week into october.

qabbaan 10-08-2012 10:41 AM

The club level looks no more disillusioned than usual.

I guess it's ok for them, they can go upstairs to watch some other game.

Wow, that should make a statement. Too bad there is so much TV money they don't need to sell tickets.

Ya, they changed the rules. they call it enhancing the experience, I call it cheap shit at a football game.

Otter 10-08-2012 04:06 PM

That's pretty crazy. I remember my my 1st arrowhead game back in 2000ish and it was like walking into Penn State. (zip it snapperhead, we know)
