For those fans still too squeamish to root for this team to lose...

Pioli, Cassel, and their shitty ****ing Parcells-connection friends are a network of cancerous cells that is destroying this franchise. They are infecting this franchise with cancer. And if we don't get treatment for this cancer, the team will wither away into nothing.

We need chemotherapy. We need to pump the franchise's body with harmful chemicals that will make the franchise sick, but it will kill the cancer.

The Chiefs are going through loss therapy. And we need more.

We as fans are the family of this franchise. We love it. We'd do anything for it. And we want a future with this franchise. And we're the ones who should be supportive of this franchise as it goes through loss therapy.

Too many fans here are still too squeamish about the treatment. It hurts our loved ones, and thus it hurts us. It basically takes away the franchise's lifestyle for an entire year. It prevents the franchise from having fun and living life the way it wants to.

But it HAS to happen. The franchise must live. It needs losses. It needs to kill off Pioli, Cassel, and all the Patriot Way cronies.

For those fans who still want wins, I'm speaking to you as a brother/father/nephew/uncle/whatever. A family member. Be strong. Be brave. And encourage the treatment. Be happy and grateful once the treatment ends.

If the Chiefs get all the losses they need, Pioli will be gone. We'll have the #1 pick. And a new QB, and a new attitude. We'll get stronger. And soon we'll be back on top of the NFL, better and fitter than ever before.

Join me. Root for losses.

You're spinning your wheels. Some fans would rather have 6-7 wins this year for the instant satisfaction than be in position to have one of the top 3 picks in the draft.

When your HC says he doesn't understand the problems, why are you rooting for wins?

This is last year redux, except there is no Luck and RGIII this year. Hopefully Geno Smith is as close to them as many think he is.

You keep rooting for the Chiefs. Everyone else needs to listen to SNR.

The Bad Guy 10-14-2012 09:53 PM

Yeah, that's sickening that the year we finally look like we are the worst team in the league, the top QB's aren't as polished as Luck or Griffin.

I love Geno, don't get me wrong, but if this was the year Luck came out and we had the top pick, I wouldn't sleep for the entire month of April.

We had best not be Baring any miracles this year, unless it involves sending Pioli Packing prior to the end of the season.

Don't worry, it will happen naturally.

This team is 1-5.

A year ago at this time we were 3-3.

No Kyle Bollers or Curtis Painters to "save us" this year.

A lot of people on this site are guilty of it.

"we barely missed the playoffs last year"

People actually buy into this shit. Like falling assbackwards into leading the worst division in football is some kind of accomplishment. They see 2010 and think "we were 'this close'" to something, instead of recognizing that that team didn't have a prayer of making a dent in the playoffs.

for ****sakes, at least under Marty and Vermeil we had a team that was actually dominant on one side of the ball. Those teams were infinitely more equipped to win in the post season.

It's pretty funny watching games now.

I fistpumped when Quinn threw into double coverage and the ball was tipped up for an INT.

Brady QuINT!

How will winning games at this point help the franchise?

Let's say they even win enough to make the playoffs this year. How will an affirmation of Matt Cassel and Scott Pioli's bullshit possibly get rid of our "lupus"?

The Patriot Way is cancer. Straight up ****ing cancer. Not yet terminal, but still cancer.

PIT enjoys losing to crap teams. I don't trust them. Who knows about division games, crazy stuff happens. If CLE gets more determined to beat us to the top pick, that game could be a win.

To me, if we come out of the bye and lose, we should be in good shape. If that is followed by the two sure loses actually being sure loses, I really like our chances.

I've been saying for awhile that if we lose to Oakland after the bye, the #1 pick is ours.

No team is going to want to fight for wins when they're 1-6, 0-2 in the division, and (quite possibly) have never had a single ****ing lead all year.

I agree. If they lose bad out of the bye to a division team, whatever spirit is left will be gone. I kinda felt bad hearing Tamba try to get the defense fired up today. This team has holes, but quality players are just wasting their careers.

Hammock Parties 10-14-2012 10:47 PM

Oakland's D-line will assrape our O-line.

And Carson Palmer just nearly beat Matt Ryan in Atlanta by throwing for 353 yards.

Palmer always throws for a lot of yards. What nearly beat the Falcons was Matt Ryan doing his best Ryan Leaf impersonation.

I don't think players are quitting. They'll still go out there and give their all.

That said, I don't think any of them think there's any chance at winning the division or making the playoffs. At this point they're playing well as individuals because they have pride. They have no belief in the team or coaching but have pride in themselves...

Hopefully that was 1997 season, since the rest of that decade wouldn't have been worth it.

Like what? RILB, FS/SS (depending where you want Berry to play), TE

Those things grow on trees.

A new coach, but that goes without saying.

Let's not act like this is a total rebuild that needs to happen. I'll betcha 49ers fans didn't know what the hell was wrong with their team in 2010 and probably said, "****, we need so much more than just a QB"

This team will always have needs as do all teams but if we can fix the QB situation then we can worry about plugging the other holes as needed. They actually become easier to fill because they won't be as pressing of needs as our potential QBOTF could hide many of them.

Once the niners acquired Willis & Justin Smith, they were miles ahead of the Chiefs in a rebuild.

My point is, this team needs more than a QB. Whether these other players grow on trees, I don't really care. If so, somebody in this org needs to locate that tree.

I promise you give us a franchise QB and a HC that is not a buffoon and we will be looking at possible championships. This team is better than they are playing right now, they just seem poorly coached and they seem like they have given up. The Peyton-Eli example is awful. In the playoffs Eli is clutch, he is money. Peyton is anything but.

I'm not really rooting for anything, and that is the real problem. I'm rooting for me to do well in the Lenexa Chili cookoff this weekend. I'm rooting for me to get a deer next weekend. I'm rooting for my son's team to do well. I probably watched my last full chiefs game of the season three weeks ago.

whoman69 10-15-2012 10:03 AM

Sorry. I will still feel awful when we throw another interception, while I guess your crowd will cheer. Why not throw a few career ending injuries in? That will help them lose a few more games.

When you take a franchise down to the depths, its hard to come back from that. Indianapolis, Carolina, St. Louis, Detroit, Miami, Oakland are the last six number one selections and none of them are setting the world on fire. Three of them have since fired the coach that just took over the team. The next team on the list is San Francisco who had been running in mediocrity until Harbaugh came along and changed the culture. They fired two coaches before that. This team has had enough losing. You can't teach players about losing then expect them to unlearn.

This franchise has been horrible the last few years because we've taken table scraps from the Patriots and recycled their coaches. The Chiefs cannot wait for Pioli to find the next Brady and Welker. We need a system where we will draft quality players instead of using second round picks to get a return man, tweener G/T or slot back. We need to get our QB and build a winning culture. There needs to be the Chiefs way. There's plenty of young talent on this team. We lack a QB. I don't care if we have to trade every pick that we have or trade Hali to do so. This franchise has no present. We should look to the future.
