Don't think Peter King "Gets It".
I could be wrong here, but this take on Sunday's game seems like a shot at us fans.
Quote:
Personally, I think we are all very loyal. That's why we all want Pioli and all of his "Patriot Ways" out of here. |
That could be taken a couple of different ways...
|
A Pioli puppet, what do you expect?
|
Quote:
He is a big Pioli fan and sees him socially. |
He must've missed where it says we're 1-9 after our team name. He should be ****ing praising the people who are even still showing up for this shitfest.
|
If he isn't a chief fan of course he doesn't get it.

When has Peter King ever been right?

They're like bad students. |
Hell I don't even watch chiefs games and its obvious its a train wreck, even with just sportscenter it should be obvious.
|
Of course he doesn't. He doesn't sit in the stands, pay the money, watch the game.
I just want to watch a competitive team. The Pitt game was good. Then came crashing back to earth. Its hard to break the habit of watching the game and caring. Directv already has my money. So I watch. It has been easier with CP around. |

I wish I got paid to write things that are wrong and never be called out on it. Didn't he pick us to win the West? |
Whille I'm on King's case...

What a piece of crap Patriot ball fluffer

I'd say that sound sarcastic but it is Peter King so idk lol?
|
You know he's butthurt over SOC questioning his lovechild Pioli. Probably jerks to Feces Powdered Drink videos.
|
Men couldn't care less what Peter King thinks.
There are idiots out there who think being a fan means being a homer no matter what and never questioning management. If he wants to be one of those people, he can be. |
I'm sure it's fun for Cassell & Winston & the offense to hear BOOOOOO you ****ING SUCK BOOOOOOOO LOSERS
And yet Cassell doesn't understand why he was pulled after he got the team down to kick a fieldgoal before halftime. |

On a related note, Pioli cried earlier that the expectations were way too high, which is funny, because he obviously told all of his buddies in the media that we were going to be a SB contender. |
I posted on there...
"LOL. Nice shot at the KC fanbase in defense of your buddy Scott Pioli. You should have talked to Matt Cassel for an unbiased view from the players standpoint. Perhaps next week you can champion Eric Winston and his calling out 70k fans fo something that a very tiny minority did." |
We expected to compete in a shit division and maybe squeak out a home playoff win for once....Poor guy.

We'll done young man! Well done! And I don't just mean that rebuttal to King. :toast: |
Ask Peter King what his pant size was the last time the Chiefs won a playoff game....
|
It's really hard to know his real feelings as he typed that. We all know that text, email, etc intent can be misunderstood.
I like King as a writer, but he's so busy, he can't possibly have time to get to know every single team in and out as well as most of us around here. IMO, the movement is about more than just firing Pioli. It's also been born out of 20 years of fan frustration having never won a playoff game...and 40 years without a title. The National guys will never get that, unless they live in KC or are connected to it in someway, like JWhit. I've always said its very easy to be a fan of teams like the Lakers, Yankees, Steelers, Patriots.....and very, very hard to be fans of teams like the Royals and Chiefs. |
He needs to be maimed with a signed Darrell Porter KC Royals Jr Souvenir bat.
Happy Thanksgiving! |

Ask Peter King to post a photo of what his cell phone looked like the last time the Chiefs won a playoff game. It was likely the size of a toaster.
|
Of course the stupid idiot was being sarcastic. Any time a writer uses "Gee" to start a sentence they're being sarcastic idiots. In this case, the guy has no clue what he's talking about. A lot of the players probably agree with this fan revolt, and we support the players. Hell I even support Clark IF he does right by the team and fires the Hitler that he mistakenly hired to run his family's team.

It is just amazing that people equate being loyal to excepting and being glad for whatever shit team they give us to watch. Morons could realize that we are loyal because we are still here and have not left yet even though we have been givin apple reasons.

FIRE PIOLI AND OH BTW KING **** OFF |
Once again: **** Peter King and his friend, Scott Pioli.

If we weren't loyal that stadium would be empty.
And it deserves to be. But we are loyal. And we stay. And we keep putting arses in seats. And we care more than our GM. That's the point. WE DESERVE BETTER. CHIEFS FANS WON'T LEAVE - PIOLI WILL... |
If he meant it, he must know that his credibility amongst his peers just took a hit. Let's hope they all knew he was joking.
If he meant it, I guess the bright side is that he's a sports personality and not a surgeon prepping to cut on one of our loved ones. |
OH NOES! MY LITTLE FRIEND IS GETTING CALLED ON HIS FAIL AND SUCK ARRR ARRR MOOYEY-MOOYEY!!!!!
Yeah, **** this guy. |
As I've stated at least a dozen times over the years...
Piss on Peter King. |
Seriously F Peter King.
Matt Cassel was an MVP candidate? He's a big fat reerun who blows anything from Boston. He had lap band surgery and got fat again because he's stupid. |

There's a link for Dog Anal Gland Treatment at the bottom of the page. We should buy some for King and tell him to apply liberally to his face.

The more I read this, the funnier it becomes. |
Its pretty silly but without editing the rest of the statement its not as bad.
• Low Seeds Rule. Since 2005, Super Bowl winners are 12-0 on the road in the playoffs. The last seven champs have played only seven home games in all, in addition to the 12 road games, which means the champ has come out of the pack of those teams that often end up scrambling to make the playoffs at the end. |
Hes trying to make the larger point of how higher seeding hasnt mattered as much in recent years.
Increasingly, the NFL postseason is ruled by the teams playing the best at the end of the season, not the teams playing at home. That's obvious just by looking at the seeds that have won the last seven Super Bowls: 6, 3, 5, 2, 1, 6 and 4. The home field in January is nice but not the sort of edge it used to be (the first or second seed won the Super Bowl for eight straight years, from 1989 to 1996 Read More: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/201...#ixzz2ErhBSQaa Nice cherry pick GoTurd |

Maybe he was trying to say that since 2005, the last seven Super Bowl champions have played 12 road games and only 7 home games. But even so, why say anything about being 12-0? That's a f**king given. In fact, the way he's saying it hurts my brain. I keep thinking of this scene... http://www.andregarde.com/wp-content...tofthetime.png |
The good news in all of this?
Denver won't be resting anybody in week 17. |
What a second: What he's saying is that since 2005, Super Bowl teams are 12-0 ON THE ROAD.
The point being that Home Field Advantage in the playoffs isn't as important as once thought or even necessary to win a Super Bowl. Therefore, winning the division has been proven to be an unnecessary component to winning a Super Bowl. What's so wrong, funny or dumb about that? |

The way it reads is, "The teams that have gone on the road to win the Super Bowl are 12-0." It sounds tarded. |
