http://91984.tinypenis.com/entry/201...12_06_12-08_00
They discuss the #1 pick, draft strategy, and potential head coaches. It's a good listen check it out. |
I hear Nick Wright is involved in this one...

The 53:00 mark is really really juicy. If true wow just wow.
|
I'm at 35 minutes Bo. STFU.
|
23
|
Nick and I are right on point when it comes to the head coach preference, btw.
|
just tell us peeps who dont wana waste their lives listening to the whole thing the interesting stuff said
|
Seriously though. Who the **** knows who to draft if you don't go QB? There isn't ANYONE there that just screams out to pick him. What I don't like, is this thought that there isn't a guy in the top 5 at QB. That shit has been discussed over and over again here, but it's bullshit. It's the fallout of there not being another Luck in this draft.
|
ROFL And at the 47 minute mark the show lives up to it's name...
|
Man this is so disheartening. Nobody in the NFL wants to work with Scott Pioli and that shows it.
If Pioli comes back, it's either RAC, Ferentz or McD coaching this team next year. December 31st is gonna be the most important date in franchise history to date. Clark has to make the move. |
Oh, **** this nonsense. "No one's worth it." Bullshit. Who else has this guy said he supported and didn't support in the top of the 1st round in the last 10 years.

details people, details!

WOW? Expected. No surprise. He knows better than probably anyone. I'll spill it. Todd Haley texted Nick the night Peter King came out with the "Pioli tried to talk Belcher down" piece and said "The sick **** is trying to spin this too". It's ****ing accurate.
|
Basically says that Haley texted Nick Wright the night after Peter King's story about Pioli trying to talk Belcher out of killing himself.
Haley's text to Nick Wright: "This sick **** is trying to spin even this!" |

I ****ing HOPE we never hear from Pioli again...

so he was saying Pioli was trying to spin it as though he was some sort of mediator ?
|
LMAO @ hugged in the wrong place.
|
what do yoy think pioli was saying? Ya jovan do it. shoot yourself....yeah right. how would haley even knoe what was said? he wasent there

Wowza, there's some juicy stuff in there.
As much smoke, shit, and vitriol as there is in the fanbase, the media, etc towards Scott, that alone makes me think there isn't any way Scott is brought back. The Chiefs organization is vodoo right now with this guy at the helm. I'm actually more sure right now, even with what I've heard from a few sources previously, that this whole staff is let go. There really isn't anyway you bring them back at this point. |
Juiciness is our specialty. Amateur Hour, baybay.
|
Good Lord, just listened to the Babb podcast. This is amazing.
You guys better believe things are changing here. It absolutely cannot go on this way. |

I think the fact that he hasn't come out and said anything, means more that they are all gone. From my perspective, Clark absolutely is furious and wants so hard to build a winner here. Things are about to change. |
Quote:

Babb is absolutely correct, there is no, absolutely no, reason to keep Pioli other than greed.
|

Quote:
I know the fans want this, we all do. But if they are all gone, just hang tight and let it happen. Saying that and doing it now, doesn't do anyone any good. |
The players know the whole front office is gone.
|
So Todd Haley texted somebody that Pioli was trying to spin his role in the Belcher suicide? Is he having another mouse in the salad moment?
|
Quote:
I don't know but that makes you think Clark may have? |
I'd would absolutely recommend if you haven't, go back and listen to Kent Babb's podcast.
|
Scott Pioli will not be the GM in KC next year.
|
I've wondered about the Fescoe tweet too. Could be a sign. Or Pioli wants to rid the past regime of most of its players except flowers and charles
|
Pioli is gone. Clark can't sell tickets with him.
|
Quote:
Even if you wanna say Clark is all about money. He's a business man, all he cares about is making money. Bringing back Scott doesn't make money, it's a bad business decision. Clark isn't in to making bad business decisions, ESPECIALLY, making the same bad decision again. |

I don't give a **** what Nick says about this class of QBs. He's no more qualified to judge them than I am.
|
babb describes the infamous dinner with him, whitlock, haley, and pioli
he calls pioli a 'lunatic...and a freak' we were screwed from the start.... |
basically, no one wants to work with pioli, and the people that do hate it...
we're ****ed until he is gone |

babb podcast is great
"he's a joke and a fraud" |
said the only hire pioli got right was mark donovan...
said Clark has/had no idea what was going on...he'd show up and pioli puts on a pony show, then he flies away... |
**** these reeruns and their opinions on Geno.
Draft Jones and trade Tamba? **** you. |
"clark will solidify his reputation in the next 5 weeks...if he keeps pioli he is the worst owner in the nfl"
|
Quote:
How do we know Mark Donovan isn't talking to Clark on a daily basis, telling him all the nasty things Pioli is doing? Chiefs PR reports up through DONOVAN, not Pioli. Pioli is making the entire team look bad and Donovan has to deal with it more often than not. |
Quote:
Saying as much as he screwed up the Pioli hire, he did nail the Donovan hire. I listened to that podcast last night (great stuff), and I didn't realize how bad it was. I read arrowhead anxiety and all that but right from the start with that dinner story it's been bad. That was some damning stuff. I don't think Pioli will ever work in NFL again. |
Quote:
CLARK hired Donovan. Donovan and Pioli are peers, in terms of the corporate structure. |
Quote:
it is still hard to believe that pioli is this much of an asshole...everyone hates him...everyone |

Quote:
It's hard for me to wrap my head around how much of a failure this guy has been. Usually you have a few things here and there that you can say he has done well, but there is literally nothing. He's alienated everyone that he works with and alienated the entire fanbase. And I think the majority of the fanbase gives too much leeway when it comes to the Chiefs, but this guy managed to turn everyone against him in just 4 years. Even the casual fans. Incredible, really. |
Quote:
To add: In a season this dismal there is always a scapegoat fired; hell, Cam Cameron was fired from the playoff-bound Ravens. No one has been fired from the Chiefs. Adios ****ers! |
welp, it's just depressing that a franchise could be taken over by one guy this way
shutting down the foundations, not allowing players to promote themselves in the community or via media outlets, installing a regime of surveillance and fear...taking the fun out of everything for everyone incalculable damage in 4 years...and every player and coach in the league knows it...what a miserable asshole |
Quote:
Teams fire individual pieces mid-season because they still have HOPE for said season. There is no hope for this team until next season, so nobody will be fired until this season is over. |

If someone, say Daboll, were fired a few weeks ago, then we might have a problem.
The fact taht no one has been released yet is a pretty damning thing for this regime. There is about to be an absolute axe fall on it. And from what I've heard, the people in the organization love Marc Donovan and he's gonna be here for a long time. Those I've talked to think, once Pioli and his antics are gone, Donovan can have the fans back to where we were in the Chiefs "prime" years, very quickly. |
Quote:
|
Quote:
These guys are all tied to Pioli. If you fire one, you have to fire them all. Therefor, wait it out, do your due diligence behind the scenes so that when you do fire them, you have your next plan in place. Clark Hunt may be alot of things. But stupid isn't one of them. |

In regards to the fanbase and whether this has been irreparable damage, I don't think so. And this is gonna go back to Mark Donovan and how good he is at his job, but if you fire this football side regime this offseason, bring in a big name coach, draft a QB first overall, this city will absolutely go back to being the full on ravenous fanbase that it desperately wants to be.
Put a winner on the field and this city will be there in droves. It's nuts about its sports teams. This is something that Pioli has pissed down his leg on. The city wants to feel like its part of the team. Thats what made the 90's so special. Like previously mentioned, the fanbase felt it had a direct hand in winning and losing and took losing personal. It doesn't take much for that to happen, access to the team wise. But completely turning them off to the fans has turned the fanbase against them, which in this town is harder to do than putting a winner on the field. |
