I'm sure a Nov. 2012 poster means a lot to me.

Buck 12-12-2012 11:12 PM

I don't think I was even in the running. Luckily, for them.

This years award, is the first one thats really mattered in some tangible way.

These two cut the initial path, paved the way.

I don't wanna stroke his ego, but Clay absolutely was a force in regards to the technical side of SOC.

Football takes are goofy as shit, but when it comes to being a persistent ass and staying after someones ass, Clay is a man among boys.

Eh, that came out really wrong.

When persistent acts are needed in order to get someone to realize the truth, Clay is the guy to do it.

Now that I read that, it's hilarious, I didn't mean it to be that way at all.

Clay is like the Obi Wan of the SOC movement.

Pr is Luke and Marty is Han?

Hammock Parties 12-12-2012 11:52 PM

'Hamas' Jenkins is Obi-Wan, nobly sacrificing himself.

Pr is Luke, Marty is Han and I.....am R2-D2.

Allow me to play back the message I've been carrying inside my rusty innards.

I happen to solidly believe the November 2012 class will be one to go down in Cp history.

This place wouldnt even be the same without ya, the Declaration is a modern masterpiece.

Its your year every year here, let others divy up the credits... you must be the dark knight, fighting for good behind the scenes, not the hero we want... the hero we need...

Are you saying that Fax's King of the N00bs crowning his first year is not the reason for his legendary run here on the Planet?;)

Phobia deserves a mountain of credit, too.

This was a 4-man team.

Yes, thats pretty much what i'm saying.

FAX is an AWESOME poster here, being crowned or defeated wouldnt have changed that.

I'm also saying that this years award actually means something beyond "who is mr. popular this year"... this current award backs people who've made a legitimate difference in helping to shape our future, how much we'll never be able to quantify... but they, along with everyone involved's collective awesomeness... literally CHANGED things this year.

This franchise went from 100% COMPLETE oblivion, a TOTALLY forgotten backwater... to getting almost daily press from every major news outlet, panning the white hot klieg lights onto a franchise that wouldnt have changed jack without that heat.

There were a whole lot of people that went into that...

mnchiefsguy 12-13-2012 07:01 PM

Congrats and thank you to both of them for their fine work on behalf of Chiefs fans!

Thig Lyfe 12-13-2012 08:08 PM

If it were up to me, we would have had anti-Cassel banners flying at the Ravens playoff game... I was just ahead of my time, I guess.
