Honestly, this might be the one time in my life that I actually become a Raiders fan for a brief 3 hours. I hope it never has to come to such a tragedy again, but at least ill know how AIDS patients feel..

I am going to miss the entire game. my flight takes off at kickoff and lands 3 hours later. the timing could not have been worse. the only good news is that I do not have to watch the game.

I hope the game gets out of hand early. The Mrs company Christmas party is tonight @ 7:30 so I'll likely miss the end.

I bet we lose because Quinn is faster than Palmer. our cornerbacks might be able to catch Palmer before he hits his own end zone, but with a nice deep shotgun formation I do not see their cornerbacks being able to catch our quarterback. final score: raiders 22, chefs 8. all on safeties.

It will come to be know as "The Safety Bowl". Years from now, we will all be sitting around the TV with our grandkids. NFLNetwork will be reairing this classic. Tears will be streaming down our cheeks as we tell our grandchildren what a glorious loss this was. Don't know if I have been this nervous about rooting for a late season loss since the week 17 game against the Jets at the Meadowlands in 2007. Somehow we managed to pull out that loss 13-10, but it took overtime to do it.

What worries me with you guys drafting ahead of us, is that you will trade with someone like the Cardinals... who would draft a QB... and try and recoup some of the draft picks that you guys need to rebuild your team.

Yeah the raiders are going QB early but it's more likely that they trade back in first (perhaps even twice) and grab a QB late in the first or in the 2nd. They have too many needs.. I mean really as bad as we are they are worse, besides QB of course.

I'm not too worried about today though. We'll end up drafting 1. Chiefs offense couldn't score if the raiders selected 11 random people from the stands to play D. Our d will fold and Carson will hit rod streater over the top for some long Tds.

I think there was a game back in 2008 when Miami came to Arrowhead in the dead of winter. Both teaqms were completely out of the playoff hunt. Turned out that game was the best game of the week.
