I made the 3-4 tweet it's own thread.

Smart man.

No biggie. Not Reid's first rodeo, so no worries.
|
It's a ****ing breath of fresh air. Developing a scheme that fits around your players. Is that even allowed?
|
Great news all around AFAIC.

You can't beat the tweet master.
|
Hope it's the 1 gap 3-4
|
We'll have a more aggressive, attacking 34. And it's also a positive statement about how Reid evaluates the overall talent on the roster.
|
Smart man.

Basically Pederson does most of the grunt work in game planning for Reid but in the end Reid will call the plays as many expected.
|
I wonder why he isn't letting his hot up and coming OC call the plays?

Basically imo grooming him slowly. Promote from QB coach to OC but only half way in duties. Maybe in time Reid will turn things over to Pederson when he proves to be ready with the full deal. If we do indeed have Childress around, he will be there to help groom and gameplan as well.

I would rather him cut his teeth calling plays next year when we are probably just average then learning when we are ready to be good.

Fire Reid.

Why do head coaches keep doing this....
|
Old habits are hard to kill. Reid has been around the block for quite awhile, he just gets use to being in control.
|
I have no problem with this as long as he takes us to the big Dance
|
Weird I kept saying that and some douches kept arguing it in other threads.

Someone must think we have some talent

I noticed he was interviewed on 810 today. Is there a thread on it or discussion?

Then Childress came to Minnesota and did not do well. Sounds like we want Reid to call plays. |
OMG HE IS TODD HALEY ALL OVER AGAIN
|
He could have Dave Thomas' corpse make him a Big Bacon Classic while he calls the plays for all I care as long as it works.

Laugh out ****ing loud at all the ****ing weeping vaginas when Pedersonwas named OC.

That's cool. Reid knows what he's doing. He ain't no Haley. He's been around the block...Hope his DC can handle the 3-4 if that's not what he's used to.
|
so our new DC knows 3-4 shit right?
I'm glad he's willing to use the roster to it's strengths. We all know we have mad talent on D. |
I'm curious to see if anyone knows how many teams have won the superbowl or college championship with the head coach calling the offense?
|
Isn't bull sh*t speculation what your best at Dane?
|
I kinda figured Andy would call the plays, and I thought our DC hire made it obvious our intentions to stick with the 34 defense.
|
I'm glad we're staying with the 3-4. It gives Dorsey just a little less work in building the defense than he otherwise would have had.
|
Good dont want another first time playcalller.

They were the number 1 defense in the NFL. Today Reid specifically said that Sutton would be bringing the Ryan, blitzing 3-4. He even noted how that defense blitzes everyone "including the hot dog vendors." The days of Romeo's outdated system are over. Get used to some mother****ing blitzes, y'all. |

Mike McCarthy, if I'm not mistaken? |
ROFL all the folks on this site claiming they were going to 43 defense.
|
Make no mistake Reid will be in charge of everything like he was in Philly. All other coaches will do his bidding or get canned.
|
Look what Reid did with DMac/TO!!
Add Josh Freeman to Dwayne Bowe!! |

NFL Scout @insider_nfc
#Chiefs fans need to be patient with Reid, I'm guessing Cassel is the starter next season. He's got the skill set to run Reid's offense Retweeted by Nick Jacobs |

Not another year with Matt Cassel!!! Well Reid did make it work with the likes of A J Feely running Philly's O. Maybe he can make something out of MC.

None. NFL Scout must be his agent. |

Reid calling the plays was very common in Philadelphia. It wasn't until recently that he gave it up to Marty M.
His game management and ability to adjust on the fly are Reid's Weaknesses. He very stubborn in his way. |

Andy loves O-line guys. He has a history of high Offensive and defensive line picks.
|
I think Reid will turn Matt Cassel around. Remember, he originally was Brett Farves QB coach in Green Bay before going to Philly. I wouldn't be suprised if he uses him for at least, I don't know, like 14 years.
|
Guys, Cassel would be fine with Reid. Hell, he'd make Quinn good. He succeeded with AJ Feeley and Koy Detmer, He made Kolb look good.
|
He's a QB guru. I have faith in him to make the right call. If he likes what he sees in Casshole, I may just change my opinion of him.
