Over the next weeks we will be innudated with "Harbowl" and Brothers fighting for a championship... and blah blah blah.

If so, how long did it take you to hate them?

I hate Ray Lewis more but yes this will be horrible for the next two weeks.

I do not plan on watching any ESPN reports about Super Bowl. I do plan on watching the Super Bowl, with the volume control on mute during the game, but during commericals, it will be unmuted.

I'm a SB buff, but I will probably watch the least amount of two week coverage and pre-game since SB VII. The first one I remember watching. Seriously. I hate these fuggers.

The amount that people on this board bitch about what is shown tv channels that they supposedly never watch is utterly astonishing. What's the deal? There's a thread every week about ESPN and the way they cover stuff. Shouldn't it be obvious that turning it off is the way to go, by this point?

Why do you hate Ray Lewis? I would take him in a heart beat. He gives you 110% each time he plays. Plus you can tell he is a man of God and that is awesome. For the last time, the L-i-n E-l-l-i-o-t did not cost us that game. The putrid combination of Marty Schottenheimer and Steve Bono lost us that game. Marcus Allen was averaging nearly 5 yards per carry, yet Marty went full Air Bono. Hell, Harbaugh was terrible in that game. He went 11-27, 112 yds., TD, INT, 2 Fumbles. Plus, Marty should have replaced Elliot after the Dallas game.

I don't watch TV like I used to so I think that helps keep the hype train down. I never listen to sports radio...really the only thing I am real active on to make me think something is being over hyped is here or Twitter. Only watch ESPN for an actual game.

Hell no I don't hate them. I love their passion and I don't care if they throw a fit on the sidelines. Some of the calls I have seen them get wrong that hurt their teams warranted an outburst. i don't cheer for either team and I was pissed at a few calls I have seen made this year.

Not sure if you know much about the case but the other two dudes involved int that case were aquitted as they were proven to have acted in self defense. So if you act in self defense are you still a murderer?

Well, in the eyes of the court it certainly does. Is that not what due process is all about? As for this case the fact they killed some guys in what was considered self defense is the big key for me. I think they should be allowed to protect themselves, if that were the case. Lewis should not have lied to the cops that is for sure but I am not sure that makes him a murderer.

But from today until about 30 mins to kickoff in 2 weeks... I tune out all sports shows, radio, tv, everything... Someday when the Chiefs are in the game I will watch every second of it, but until then...
