That guy is a leader.

One of the few things Pioli didn't screw up...drafting that guy.

I'm not surprised he hated his role this past season.

i hope they put him back at safety and let him stay back and make plays like his rookie season

He'll earn his trip to the PB next year and earn All Pro honors to boot.

You have to admit though, the old regime put in a lot of worker topping themselves with new mistakes every week.

God I love this interview. You can tell Eric didn't want to bad mouth Romeo but was basically saying yeah I want to play safety. I will do anything the

coach wants me to do but I am best when the let me play safety, let me play deep and free lance a little. (a.k.a. FREE SAFETY) Where he should have

been since the day the drafted him. Playing nickel LB :spock: Asked who do you blame for the 2-14 season. Blames himself he should of been more of a

leader, better motivator, and lead more player walkthroughs before practice. This kid just pours leadership and can't wait to see him next year fully healthy.

Definitely liked the sharpness in his voice when asked if a .500 season was their goal. He said something along the lines of I will not let that happen. I have told everybody to be ready. Take your little breaks and relax but come ready to play. Sounds like he's ready to take that step to holding the defense accountable.

Berry needs to go back to FS and bring in a strong safety. Nickle LB? What a travesty. They played him like John McGraw.

Bob Newhart or whoever our new DC is will hopefully be smart enough to not only switch to the 1-gap (which he said he's planning on doing) but also put his trust in Berry at FS.

They pretty much shortened his career doing that stupid shit.

It's like taking Aaron Rodgers and using him like Tim Tebow.

Playing Berry at nickel LB is a classic example of Patriot Way reeruns thinking they can coach a team to a victory.

IMO if Menzies doesn't get injured, we don't see Berry playing inside in our 2-3-6.

However, signing Landry would have ****ing solved that problem as well. :)

I liked that ALOT...

It's pretty obvious that he's speaking the truth. I know it was just the Pro-Bowl, but the guy looked like an entirely different player in that game...playing in a pure safety role. He was everywhere.
