What Major US city will have the next major catastrophe?
I don't honestly know what city I would count Sandy for so I'll just say NYC.
Before that it was New Orleans and prior to that NYC for Sept 11. I don't know if Sandy should even register on the same scale. Its inevitable that we are going to have another big one, where do you think it will happen? |
Kansas City with Alex Smith @ quarterback.

Sandy is a sign of things to come on the Eastern seaboard.
If not that, your area is overdue for a huge earthquake. |
Sandy hit the most densely populated area of the country and killed just over 110 people. The tornado that hit Joplin, MO in 2011 (population 50,000) killed 158.

Making my call;
New Madrid fault snaps, Memphis is underwater when the Mississppi River shifts its banks. |

Also, had the Joplin tornado hit on a weekday and 1-3 hours earlier it could've put the death toll close to 500. |

Florida. There will be a massive sinkhole somewhere in that state.
|
We had a nice little earthquake a few days ago here in SD that shook my building.
|
I think Florida's overdue for a Katrina/Andrew level 'cane
|
New Madrid fault snaps too much happening along it, or California falls into the ocean lots of quakes along the coast line and in the state.

Fun fact, the San Andreas fault situation won't result in Southern California falling into the ocean. It's actually rising, not dropping. That's not to say that everything is going to be fine here. |

St. Louis and the good news is it will actually improve that shithole.

Phoenix, AZ
when it hits 140 this july |
Why limit it to just a city when California is just there for breaking off and floating away..... And no one would care.

Trotters, ND. They are one fire away from the whole town being wiped out.
