Gio has been playing a lot of 3B in Omaha. They are obviously trying to see if his glove could be acceptable while Moose is down. Miguel Tejada is not an everyday player.

Trufan Sports Complex isn't cursed, it's just where the Royals and Chiefs play.

Gio at third sucks almost as hard as Moose staying in the bigs because of our obvious black hole at second up here. I think I'd rather get Gio completely comfortable at second than have him play the corner.

The Royals were 17-13 with Gordon leading off... changed it up for game 3 vs Baltimore... and the Royals won... and since then, they've been changing the lineup relatively frequently.

This was actually posted in a Royals thread. I love it when fans of actual ML teams have to recalibrate.

Scrub minor leaguers generally do well against us. Last week we faced a guy who hadn't pitched in the majors in 2 years and he went 5+ with no runs. The Angels promptly designated him for assignment the next day.

Last week we faced back-to-back starters with ERAs over 6. Needless to say, we got punked in both games.

Throw a soft tossing left hander against us and we will produce 3 hits.

Lyons has two great breaking pitches. If he can effectively spot the fastball early in the count he can do some damage with them.
