Donkey's sign another past his prime Charger
ProFootballTalk @ProFootballTalk 32s
CB Quentin Jammer signs with Broncos, per source with knowledge. 34 year old CB. So this is how horseface is trying fix the secondary that got embarrassed the last time they were on the field. |
yeah - we have no room at all - so hush. We've made numerous piss-poor decisions like this.
|
With Tebow they had a prayer.
|
The Chiefs have no talent, but the Broncos got all kinds of talent.
Jammer, Bailey, and what's-his-old-ass Impressive! |

Just heard that Jammer was one of the worst cover CB's last year on PFF.
|
It's all about having enough bodies ready to go...
Moore has talent, that was just a hell of a play made by Flacco and Jones - Jacoby got there, just wasn't in the best of positions to make a well timed jump. |
I opened this thread hoping it was Natrone Means. Damn it.

Good for the Broncos. You know, he was the 5th overall pick in 1981.
|
Him and Champ can talk about the good old days of 2005 when they were relevant.
|
Right. Because clearly, what they're doing is bringing him in to shut down the other team's best receiver. LMAO
|
Bestest secondary EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
I assumed it was Stan Humphries.
|
Brokedick Broncos
|
Good to see the gm making moves.
|
Woodson wouldn't play for peanuts in Denver but obviously Jammer will. Jammer will probably be used to cover TE's, as he is a bigger, more physical corner. He might not even make the team, we are pretty loaded at corner.

As far as Jammer and (I assume you're talking about) Adams, yeah, they're old guys who hopefully won't be needed. |

You would think horse face would try to bulk up the secondary after it got raped in January, especially at Safety.

Drayton Florence was signed by Denver at the same time last year. He was nothing but camp fodder. I'll be stunned if Jammer is much more than that. Nickel CBs, on the other hand, are basically starters in the NFL today. |
Donkey homerism is the only sanctioned homerism at Chiefsplanet.
|
He can still shut down Baldwin.

And yes, Champ is done. I know you think the Chiefs are Jamaal Charles and a bunch of shit-chucking apes, but our starting CBs and their immediate backups are better, younger, and superior to what you have. |

You really know nothing about the Broncos, do you? Here's the top 3 corners for each team, with PFF's rankings (out of 113 corners) #5) Chris Harris, 23 years old #7) Brandon Flowers, 27 years old #10) Champ Bailey, 34 years old #28) Tony Carter, 27 years old #47) Dunta Robinson, 31 years old #74) Sean Smith, 25 years old Hey, it looks like we have one old guy and two younger guys, just like you. Only, ours are better. Weird. |
Chris Harris lmao
Thanks Vondoooom!!!! |

I don't really see what's funny. He's better than any CB on the Chiefs. |
Thanks to the pass rush they had.
|
This is a good move and they are doing the same thing as us by signing a giant corner that can come in on nickel packages. Jammer knows Gates well and has practiced against him many times.
Pretty smart move if you ask me. |

Okaaay... LMAO I will grant you Tony Carter, though. That guy's pretty talented. He's by far your best CB. He's not as good as Flowers, though. |
I believe Jammer will be playing Safety.

Harris has two years of experience, and he was pretty good both years. This past year, he was #5 in the league in yards allowed per coverage snap, #2 in run stops, and #1 in rushing the passer. That makes for a great CB. Carter is not that good. Flowers, Harris and Bailey are all vastly better. Of course, Carter is much better than Smith or Robinson. |
Jammer will probably play safety, not CB, if he doesn't get cut.
