With the last game today...grade how the rookie QBs did in their first performance. If someone wants to do the dirty work and gather their stats, I'll update the OP.

QB - round they were drafted.

EJ MANUEL (Bills) - 1st

GENO SMITH (Jets) - 2nd

MIKE GLENNON (Bucs) - 3rd

MATT BARKLEY (Eagles) - 4th

RYAN NASSIB (Giants) - 4th

TYLER WILSON (Raiders) - 4th

LANDRY JONES (Steelers) - 4th

BRAD SORENSEN (Chargers) - 7th

ZAC DYSERT (Broncos) - 7th

BJ DANIELS (49ers) - 7th

SEAN RENFREE (Falcons) - 7th

TYLER BRAY (Chiefs) - UDFA

No contest. Bray wins any competition. As Larry Bird would say, the others are playing for second.

When I look at that list, I can't believe how sooooooo msny here wanted to draft one of them at 1.1... ROFL

You already need to update the OP with the correct info. Geno was drafted in the 2cd round.

The NFL just announced that due to Geno Smith's awesomeness, the max QB rating is now 158.5.

EJ Manuel was so ****ing obvious that his measurable would translate well in the NFL.

I'd still take Geno over Manuel. Shove it.

I watched the Bills/Colts game into the 2nd quarter and EJ Manuel was absolutely horrendous. He threw a TD against scrubs 20 seconds before halftime. Hooray!

He didn't look that great...the surprise was UDFA Matt McGloin. From what I've been reading, Wilson is in danger of being passed over by this guy. Of course it's one game into the preseason, but as it looks right now, McGloin > Wilson.

Manuel had a real nice game in Week 2. 10-12 for 92 yards and a TD.

Bro. Geno couldn't even beat Texas Tech.

I was never high on Geno. I thought the Jets were stupid for drafting him. I watched him a lot in the BIG 12. Eh.

You know what the big 12 is all about. Pass, Pass, Pass. No defense.

Part of the reason I think they drafted him was because they were trying to put pressure on Sanchez without actually challenging him.

I think EJ Manuel is going to be pretty good. I thought he was BY FAR the best QB at the senior bowl, the bills made a nice pick.

It's a perfect time to have a new coach/QB combo in that division.

Not a rookie but Alex Tanney just went 7/7 and 71 yards on a 17 play 89 yard TD drive for Dallas.

Too bad about Manuel's injury.

He's looked pretty solid in Buffalo. Considering that he's a project, that can only be positive.
