Turns out he contracted an aggressive form of Aids in the locker room before the game.

Seattle looks great. Wilson looks great. Broncos look sloppy.

Derek Wolfe, however, looks like he has a broken neck -- it was a BS play by Seattle. Someone had cut-block Wolfe, who was down on the ground on the left side of the offensive line on a play that went to the right. After he's down a second Seahawk came flying in and just clocked the guy in his neck/shoulders while he was half-way down on the ground.

The Denver Broncos can't seem to catch a break on the injury front.

After an injury-filled training camp, the team saw four key players go down in Saturday's 40-10 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

Although all news has been positive on defensive end Derek Wolfe's cervical spine injury, the Broncos might not be so fortunate with cornerback Champ Bailey, wide receiver Wes Welker and right guard Louis Vasquez.

Bailey was sporting crutches and a walking boot on his left after the game, according to the Denver Post's Mike Klis. He's scheduled to undergo an MRI after straining something in the bottom of his foot.

Coach John Fox revealed that Welker suffered a right ankle sprain after hauling in the Broncos' lone touchdown. There's no word on the severity of Welker's injury.

Vasquez did not return to the game after leaving with a left knee injury in the second quarter. The consensus among beat writers was that the injury did not appear to be serious, but the team will likely send him for further testing to confirm.

At this point, Bailey's injury appears to be the biggest long-term concern. Sitting squarely in a Super-Bowl window, the Broncos can ill afford to lose their top defensive back.

Moore is better in coverage than Berry. Or, at least he was in 2012.

He may be better in coverage, but hes not the better player. Eric Berry in the next two years will be known as the best safety in football.

Just keep Berry away from TE's and he will be fine.

You're right. Berry sucks so bad in coverage that he gave up a 70 yard TD in a playoff game where his only job was to stay deeper than the deepest receiver. Moore would never do that. :D

What happened consistently throughout the season though, was that Berry was targeted more often than any other Safety in the league, because QBs and OCs knew they could find success.

And our Defense was on the field 70% of the game.

It sure would be nice to play defense when the offense is putting up 30+ a game instead of 7.

Maybe the best strong safety, but he's got an uphill climb to reach that lofty summit. However, he should thrive in Sutton's defense, especially if Sutton employs a lot of the 46 look, which really plays to Berry's strengths.

He's been a liability against the pass for two seasons now.

There's a number of safeties taken in his draft class that have outperformed him to date, let alone guys like Eric Weddle, Troy Polamalu, Nick Collins, Adrian Wilson among others.

I like Berry a ton, but let's be realistic.

Same here. What will be interesting is to see IF it will screw with his intensity psychologically when he gets back on the field(a la gun shy) because that is very scary for sure:shake:

Moore played WAY more coverage snaps than Berry did.

Let me know how Moore plays the first year after tearing his ACL. Berry in the second half of the season was a completely different player than he was to start the year.

Berry was very unsure of his knee until midway through the season. Now he knows it's ok so he'll be a different player and better play also because of this scheme.

Excuses like these are why Chiefs fans consistently think that they have one of the most talented rosters in the league.

There is no goddamned way Rahim Moore is even CLOSE to being as good as Eric Berry. This is just unbridled rampant Donk homerism, a disease spread by Knowmo ever since he welched on his bet.

I hated the way Romeo used Berry. I think that was the problem last year. He was practically a linebacker. It seems like he will be freelancing and playing with instincts this year. Sort of like how Pittsburgh uses Polamalu. I have good feelings about this. I think he's the best player on the roster. He was just being wasted with Crennel.

Moore gave up 218 yards and 1 TD in 608 coverage snaps.

Berry gave up 468 yards and 5 TDs in 468 coverage snaps.

Teams still didn't throw to that side of the field much against Denver. Let's see what he does without Champ over there. Stats never tell the whole story.
