It's Friday... it's pizza...

What you got?

I'm lazy. It's a 16" take-and-bake supreme pizza. $5.99.

FlaChief58 08-23-2013 02:28 PM

Subway

Papa Murphys?

saphojunkie 08-23-2013 02:31 PM

In LA there's Joe's Pizza and there's everything else.

Large cheese with one extra slice of Grandma's pie.

I usually do PM, but I've found the Aldi take-and-bake are really good.

KCUnited 08-23-2013 02:37 PM

I NEVER do this, but tonight I'm eating at the K. It's the last supper before this season is taken to the gallows.

Cheesy corn brisket-acho
Count on Kansas City to turn traditional BBQ sides into a twist on the classic nacho. Served over a bowl of nacho chips, the cheesy corn brisket-acho features sliced brisket, cheesy corn, baked beans, coleslaw and a whole lot of BBQ sauce.

I'll probably chicken out though and get a $1 hotdog and a beer.

Get your one dollar grey hot dogs!!

You're punishing yourself enough by attending the game; just get the weird nacho thing and report back.

allen_kcCard 08-23-2013 02:42 PM

I'll never get one of those dollar dogs. Those things are cooked and wrapped before we even get there to check in as workers when I am out there.

Yeah those dogs are whack, but it's Beer Fest night at the K so I'm planning on a series of bad decisions tonight. I really want to get those nachos and bitch to other fans about how fat Butler is while I'm eating them.

The ones that they at least cook around the time the game started, sure. The ones that are tossed in a hotbox before noon for a night game? No thanks.

gblowfish 08-23-2013 03:11 PM

I've always heard not to buy hotdogs during the opening of a home stand, because the first ones they sell are the ones left over from the homestand before. They clear out the old dogs before making new dogs.

Stadium dogs generally suck, unless you get a grilled brat or italian sausage.

I won't say too much, but the dogs that were sold at one stand at the Chiefs game last week were the same dogs that were in the cooler from the Chesney concert, and I had to throw away two whole boxes of the damn things that were moldy. I am glad I was working there instead of some crappy union guy that wouldn't have gave a crap and just cooked that "ok" ones anyway.

Taken from the star

"We've had questions sent to our tweetdeck about how long the Hot Dogs are prepared on dollar hot dogs night...I just want to let the fans know...Thank you for a great season!"

KCUnited 08-23-2013 03:24 PM

It's worth noting that I've had grilled chicken, sweet potato and mixed veg everyday for lunch this week. That $1 dog at the K is sounding like early 80s Christy Canyon tit skin right about now.

Joe's Pizza? Where's it at? I've never heard of it.

For me, it's Village Pizza, Berry's Pizza on 3rd and D'Amore's. Johnny's NY Pizza and Jacopo's are good, depending on location.

Edit: There's a Joe's Pizza at 6505 Hollywood, about 3 minutes from my house. I've never seen it or heard anyone talk about it before. Odd.

Red + yellow + green peppers, onions, sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, tomatoes. Four cheese blend. It's quite good for $5.99.

What's with all the questions?

Already today, I've had to get fresh, go downstairs, get a bowl, get cereal, and get down to the bus stop.

best pizza in KC area. Hands down.

Setsuna 08-23-2013 04:35 PM

Folded and got $10 XL 1 topping at Domino's

CoMoChief 08-23-2013 04:40 PM

People who buy stadium food are stupid. This includes beer.

Obviously there is a need for water if you're thirsty so they're going to rape you out the ass there whenever they can. I went to Zac Brown Band/Kenny Chesney at AH a couple yrs ago and it was 100 degrees outside so they went ahead and charged like $8 for bottled water or some ridiculous amount.

very well known fact:

stadiums, concerts etc. make the majority of their monies off of concessions.
same with gas stations.

being/owning a vending business can be very profitable.
