Danny Duffy. Finally.
Oh yeah, they're pitching the left-handed soft-tosser who owned us at the K. |

SALVY!!
WOW WHAT A SHOT!!
Minneapolis airport picked that one up on radar.
If the fence in right field wasn't 75 feet high, he'd have two homers today.
Just finished mowing. Looks like the Boys have had a nice start tonight

Are you insane??? |
Duffy is dealing. I love his attitude. He reminds me a lot of Sabes. He had that same kind of attitude on the mound.
Escobar needs to be more patient at the plate. Make this guy throw. He's got to be wearing down a bit.

Too bad that ball hopped over the wall. Dyson had three easy.

I'd say Duffys command is pretty close to being back 100%
Duffy gets his pitch count under control, he's going to be a monster for this team
Duffy looks incredible.
Backing off a tick on the velocity seems to have rounded his control issues into form. It also looks like he is throwing more of a slurve/slider tonight than an overhand curve, and I think he has much better control of that. Changeup is plus. When he can throw first-pitch strikes with a breaking ball, he's going to be tough to hit. Very encouraging. |
Too bad we probably won't have Erv next season. Duffy is a 2/3, would push Guthrie down to #4 and then you have competition for 5 spot. Duffy is really mixing speed and location really well. If he can find consistency with that combined with his stuff, he's a stud.

Duff just out there shoving

Punk ass rookie.

Take him deep again here for that shit.

Salvy ought to kick this guys ass in the parking lot.
Kick his ass, sea bass.

Salvy tried to kill him. Beauty....

DON"T **** WIT THE SALVY
Plouff is a boof.....
That's one of the coolest things I've seen this season. Love Salvy.
I love the fact that Rex was making excuses for the idiot Twins pitcher.
Salvy is a very bad man. He's going to get better and better and better. It's been so much fun watching him this year.
I believe that Mr. Morneau needs to see a nice high and tight fastball
This is the only thing that the national league would be good for. That punkass bitch Albers would get drilled.
Time for a dome shot.
Perez had the concussion earlier this year too. He was speaking from experience.

Salvy almost Charlie Browned that dude. Socks and shirts and shoes flying...
What I hate about modern baseball:
Now, because the umpire warned both teams, Danny Duffy can't come out and drill a Twins player in the rib cage and show them the RIGHT way to throw at a guy. Salvy kind of took care of it, but still. If I'm the pitcher in the dugout and see that happen, I'm shoving my best fastball at Morneau's ribcage the next time he's up. |

Salvy is my favorite Royals in over a decade....easily.
Last player I liked this much was Beltran. |
Am I nuts for thinking that our rotation could be better next year even without Santana?
Dyson looks to be over his ankle dingers

Likelihood isn't great, though. I'd love to see them add one more guy to the rotation, assuming Santana is not resigned. Josh Johnson, Scott Feldman a couple of names to think about. |
A pipe dream I'm sure... but how far back are we in the wild card now? Have ben tuned out from baseball in general for a week or so.

That's the type of DP Billy should be hitting into instead of those weak grounders to second.

This Twins lineup is historically bad. They have ONE batter hitting at least .260 and none hitting .270.
