It's been great to watch the 49er fans trip all over themselves in this thread.

I enjoyed the whole game. This was a satisfying effort all around. The defense kicked ass, and Charles and Alex iced the game in the 4th.

The Chiefs were in control the whole way. I'm becoming comfortable with Alex. I don't live in fear when he drops back to pass.

He has more tests to come...like what happens when the defense falters...but we shall cross that bridge when we get to it.

For now...I rest easy.

There's no Hell here and the Chiefs have beaten three flawed teams. IMHO the Chiefs haven't proven they *should* win against any of the teams remaining on their roster outside of the Cleveland White-flags.

Their not a 7-9 team by the looks of things now, no. But they still have to prove they can put away teams you have listed above.

While I am not comfortable with 0 td's in total and just 4 yards for Bowe, a win is a MF win baby!!!!

Those teams don't have a Tony Romo or even a Mike Vick.

Every team has its flaws. Even the 'mighty' Denver Broncos have their flaws. The game is about the strengths of your team masking those flaws, and with this defense playing the way they are, this team is going to be competitive and in position to win a lot of games.

Sorry.. I got caught up on Reddit's /r/AstralProjection and began channeling John Madden.

I feel like I haven't seen enough consistency out of the Chiefs... well, besides the defense which looks ridiculous. If I had a crow available I'd snack on one as I thought the Eagles were going to run the Chiefs out of Lincoln Financial... but yeah. I still think they have a way to go before we can chalk up a sweep of the Raiders or possibly taking wins away from San Diego or on the road in Buffalo..

Cautious optimism is ok. One game at a time...
