Fixed.

If it's not Indy, then it will be SD

DAL will probably do it.

It's not going to happen but since you ****ers took the safe bets, sandy eggo.

They'll be in "oh crap, if we don't win we'll be mathematically eliminated!" Mode.

Then they'll shit their pants and lose by 40 the second time around to mathematically eliminate themselves.

At Dallas will be their first loss. The have good chance of dropping one at Indy as well.

I don't see how we beat them unless there are multiple pick 6s or we actually break Neck Bone.

Ball control... keep Manning on the bench.

Philadelphia. Denver hasn't got a chance. The pace will kill them. It's all over next week.

Manning releases the ball so fast our pass rush won't get to him.

I think they will line Poe up at RDE and run stunts/twists on that LT until Peyton whimpers & cries for help.

I seriously think the Chiefs have a chance. By the time we play them they may have some key players out with injuries. Our defense can keep them under 30 points if they can get pressure on Manning. I think its possible.

I couldn't. Out ofthe ones you picked I could see Dallas, Indy & possibly HOU. The team that beats them will need an offense that has the potential to score a lot of points and that can strike quickly. Maybe the Bolts but I doubt it.

Manning craps the bed at least a couple times a year. He's due against Philly or Dallas. There will be lots of whining and hands in the air and moaning about phantom pass interference calls.

Don't you typically have to be able to run on a team to have a ball control offense? Last I checked Denver had the #1 run defense in football.

LMAO

We're already missing 3 Pro Bowlers and we will get two of them back in the next few weeks.

Let's face it, it's your year. Maybe next year, too. The best the rest of the NFL can hope for is to steadily improve until Denver has had their say.

You mistake me. I took that statement for sarcasm. 3 games in, I'm far from thinking Denver is a mortal lock in the playoffs. We haven't even got there yet.

I was thinking the same thing last night. I can honestly think of only 2 or 3 teams that could beat them. US, Seahawks (Super Bowl) and possibly Patriots.

Our defense and clock churning are a good fit. Even heard one of the dudes on NFL AM say the same thing.

suzzer99 09-24-2013 10:13 AM

Any team with a great pass rush as a puncher's chance - especially at home. Manning becomes very mortal once you knock him around some and he gets happy feet back there. So I give Dallas and SD a chance before we play them. Here's hoping SD tenderizes them for us a little at least.

It's not too many weapons. Any team can run the alignments and have as many options as the Donks. It's all about the QB finding them and Dallas not having good enough defenders to stop them.

Dallas can POTENTIALLY score enough points to keep pace, but I doubt it.

Someone said earlier that Manning is due for a shitty game, well Dallas is typically due for a "where the **** has THAT been all season?" game before they go back to shitting their pants and missing the playoffs.

It's not money in the bank for the Donks, but odds are Donks by 20.

Fritz88 09-24-2013 12:15 PM

This is what I said in another thread and I think it's more relevant here.

Quote:

I don't think rushing the passer will work with him. Jeff Saturday said this morning that the best way to stop PM is to do what NE did back in the day. Drop guys in coverage, be vanilla, bend but don't break. That's what Romeo did with him last year as well. Jeff Saturday said that PM will pick almost all blitzes.

I agree with him.

Didn't say they weren't. But it's not the NUMBER of weapons, it's the QBs capacity to utilize them.

The Faid could line up just as many options, but Pryor can't utilize them all at once.

We're arguing semantics, but it still bugs the crap out of me when people say "too many weapons." The Donks don't line up more backs and receivers than any other team that spreads it out, they just have a QB that can hit the open one.
