NFL Live today shouldve been called Broncos Live

I am already sick to ****ing death of Peyton this and Peyton that.I was flipping back and forth between NFL Live and MLB Network and each time to NFL Live the Broncos were on the screen,at least 5 times in a 40 minute show.
Shit, they already have a discussion on who wins the Superbowl the Seattle D or the Broncos O.

Look I realize you have to have topics to fill air time but it's the end of week 3 and there are plenty of other teams to discuss as well,of course unless like '97 and the NFL already knows their golden boy is going to get another ring and they'll make sure it happens.

WhitiE 09-24-2013 03:16 PM

How bout dem chiefs?

listopencil 09-24-2013 03:18 PM

So you're already pissed about the Denver Mannings winning a Super Bowl? Sweet. I'm already pissed about next year's draft picks.

Contrarian 09-24-2013 04:10 PM

They haven't played anybody yet!
Give it time mid season they will be going what is wrong with Peyton?, they lost that game because Peyton's neck was acting up and his arm strength has depreciated, why are the broncos running it every down?, wait who is this ginger coming in to play for Peyton since he aggravated his injury? - their back ups suck bunghole!
Patience grass smoker all in good time.

kcxiv 09-24-2013 04:11 PM

I'm watching fox football daily in fox they talked about the broncos for like 3-4 min and moved on.

DaFace 09-24-2013 04:12 PM

Hey now - there may be people out there that haven't accepted Peyton Manning as their lord and savior yet. His message must be told.

DJ's left nut 09-24-2013 04:22 PM

A) It's the Tuesday after the MNF game and the Broncos dominated said MNF game.

B) Why the hell shouldn't it be?

The Broncos and Seahawks are the clear class of the NFL right now. Until proven otherwise, they deserve the accolades they're getting.

If the Chiefs keep winning, they'll get theirs.

Titty Meat 09-24-2013 04:25 PM

People still watch ESPN?

Yep. Get used to it. It's gonna be that way ALL season...

LoneWolf 09-24-2013 04:27 PM

Is anyone watching ManningCenter on ESPN? It almost makes me wish Tebow would come back.

No problem bag of douchiness.

Consistent1 09-24-2013 05:05 PM

You guys all know they are tough as hell. I am just the Chiefs are rolling and maybe both teams hit the playoffs.

Brock 09-24-2013 05:09 PM

Tends to happen when a qb is on pace to annihilate the record book.

Gravedigger 09-24-2013 05:16 PM

They take a story and run with it. It consumes the program. The Jets Circus, Tim Tebow, Mariano Rivera playing his last game anywhere he's played a game before, Peyton Manning with the Colts, Peyton Manning with the Broncos, Peyton Manning playing against Eli Manning (they always know where the Manning parents are sitting for the three hundred cut aways to their reactions). It's just the way they do business, just don't watch NFL Live after a Broncos game, or any other team that you might have issues with.

lcarus 09-24-2013 05:19 PM

The Chiefs are the best they've been in probably 10 years and of course Denver has to be better than they've maybe ever been. **** you football gods!

bshmerlie 09-24-2013 06:17 PM

You obviously missed the game last night. The Broncos were men amongst boys. They dominated so much they almost looked bored playing. They could have score 60 points if they wanted to. Manning had every facet of that offense down he already knew the outcome of the plays before they even occured. I was actually beginning to feel sorry for those Raider players. And Manning was only touched once during the whole game. No reason to be jeolous guys...they were good. I just hope that Alex and our guys were watching that game and they can learn something from it. Manning is always trying to improve his game and get better. Our guys should be doing the same thing. The Broncos are not a flash in the pan. They are a well oranized and efficient team. They are fluid and everything goes according to their design....that's something we should strive for. But there's no reason to bash them. I admire their fluidity.

Got my duck call ready for Peyton as the season progresses

beach tribe 09-24-2013 06:23 PM

I understand that the Broncos look like the best team and all, but there are 32 other teams, and a TON of other story lines to follow. Its just lazy, boring, biased broadcasting.

Look at how many responses drama gets here, and this stuff is only from posts/bumps in the past 2 days....

Oh noes, Todd Haley wrote Chiefs Suck on a napkin!
Oh noes, the Chiefs are 3-0 but are listed 2nd in the division!
Two Alex Smith drama threads

...so yes, people still watch ESPN.

PhillyChiefFan 09-24-2013 06:44 PM

I watched sports center for 15 mins today and 10 of those 15 mins was spent on Manning. The other 5 was spent on the rock, paper, scissors thing the Denver RB's did.

TribalElder 09-24-2013 06:46 PM

I wish there was a running total brokedown by sports network for the mention of peyton manning

I bet it's a hundred something times per day per network

TribalElder 09-24-2013 06:48 PM

maybe 100 something per hour ROFL

notorious 09-24-2013 06:50 PM

If you want them to shut up, the Chiefs need to beat them.

Otter 09-24-2013 06:51 PM

Tamba smash neck!!!

Baby Lee 09-24-2013 06:52 PM

ESPN will be ESPN. What I'm tired of are those supplicant Elway upskirt shots at the end of these Broncos blowouts. Someone needs to put some fear, better yet despair, in his eyes as the game draws to a close.

TribalElder 09-24-2013 06:54 PM

Anyone remember a few years ago when someone did a breakdown of the time the pregame shows spent laughing

the fox crew got outed for laughing at nothing for like 10 or 20 % of the show

espn needs it's manning love outed

Frazod 09-24-2013 06:54 PM

Out eating dinner, TV in the corner's got some damn thing on about the life of... Guess who?

No escape from the endless Manning ballwashing. :shake:

Never fear under Goodell's brilliant leadership one day we will have two hand touch football. Then the records Peyton put up will be minor. I guess one record not in jeopardy of falling because of him is SB wins.

MahiMike 09-24-2013 07:03 PM

I watched about 2 mins of that game. Watched Breaking Bad again.

Consistent1 09-24-2013 07:10 PM

It is interesting to think about how much longer he can play. He has just been a machine so far this year, and a lot of last year.

whoman69 09-24-2013 07:11 PM

Sportcenter had 18 Peyton Manning stories.

Consistent1 09-24-2013 07:14 PM

I think if they somehow win the Superbowl, which is definably possible, this could be Manning's last year.

Deberg_1990 09-24-2013 07:14 PM

What team will Manning lose to in the playoffs this year??

I would love it if it were the Chiefs. ESPN would not know what to do with themselves.
