Freeman to Minne

@AdamSchefter: Josh Freeman is signing with Minnesota.

WakkaWakka 10-06-2013 09:33 PM

Beat me

CrazyPhuD 10-06-2013 09:34 PM

No more white cassel now?

Bambi 10-06-2013 09:34 PM

Not gonna work.

chiefzilla1501 10-06-2013 09:34 PM

Wow, Cassel can't seem to escape QB competition with black QBs. Like when he lost the QB competition to Brady Quinn.

DaneMcCloud 10-06-2013 09:34 PM

Finally, competition for Cassel

Pasta Little Brioni 10-06-2013 09:34 PM

Cool.

Best fit for him. Goes to a team with a really good line, a great run game and decent WRs.

I bet they IR Ponder now.

Strongside 10-06-2013 09:35 PM

Probably the best spot he could have gone...considering who their current qb's are I mean.

LiveSteam 10-06-2013 09:35 PM

Did the Vikings play today,& if so did they win?

And a team and head coach that aren't complete nut jobs.

Yep

BossChief 10-06-2013 09:37 PM

I'm kinda surprised Cleveland didn't push to sign him.

Leslie Frazier is awful. Completely awful.

But not crazy.

I'm surprised he didn't go to Oakland. Smart move on their part though. Pryor could develop into something nice.

I think once Hoyer went down, they just want to get a higher pick or roll with the people they have.

Hammock Parties 10-06-2013 09:39 PM

Eat shit and die, Cassel. You don't get to start in this league. Not on my watch.

Freeman's gonna ****ing own in Minny.

In a way, it is a risky move on Freeman's part.

If he had gone to the Raiders and struggled on a one year deal (which I take to mean until the end of this season), most would have said "Well, okay".

But if he struggles in Minnesota, with their line, decent receivers, tight end and AP, he'll be far less attractive in 2014.

Al Bundy 10-06-2013 09:41 PM

Good landing spot, is better than the crap they have there.

Geno Smith and Josh Freeman will own the NFC for the next 10 years.

YET TIM TEBOW CAN'T SEEM TO FIND A JOB?????

AndChiefs 10-06-2013 10:05 PM

Cassel doesn't understand what he needs to do to keep a starting job.

After all, he graded out perfectly in his first start this year.

$250k a game. Of course this is the same guys who signed Cassel.

SPchief 10-07-2013 01:54 AM

Freeman went to the highest bidder. Smart on him, (And the Raiders), dumb on the Vikings

When will you make the transformation?

whoman69 10-07-2013 08:48 AM

They must really have zero confidence in Cassel or the injury to Ponder is worse than has been stated.
