If you need a little motivation to get fired-up for the game at Buffalo, look no further.

Prison Bitch 10-28-2013 08:58 PM

Amen. I can't believe the players didn't swarm him and rip him to pieces after that garbage hit.

notorious 10-28-2013 09:00 PM

I don't cheer injuries, but a career-ending injury to that piece of shit might make me a liar.

Prison Bitch 10-28-2013 09:04 PM

He needs to apologize. If he did I'd forgive him. If not, I want a convoy of defenders hunting him down and going after his knees all game.

Apologize for what? Making a legal block? Should Charles have to apologize to Cushing?

Strongside 10-28-2013 09:07 PM

Hope he gets targeted with a high one across the middle and Berry takes a kill shot.

Or if he decides to come across the middle of the field, D. Johnson will give him a nice greeting, aka, Arthur Brown shot against Oklahoma in 2012.

Not even remotely the same thing.

Screw Stevie Johnson. I want to see Eric take this guy out.

That's legal? It's sure as shit dirty. Charles was at least blockin an on rushing guy coming straight at him, I don't think they're comparable.

What's dirty about it?

Pepe Silvia 10-28-2013 09:12 PM

I was pissed at that play and I'm not even a Chiefs fan.

He did....

Plus, it was a legal block, and not intentional to injure.

Stevie Johnson on the other hand.....

You cannot be serious.

Eric and Stevie are basically the same size, so no need to go low. Eric was not even looking so Stevie could have just given him a good ol' shove, more commonly known as a block, without ending his season.

Seriously? There's nothing dirty about it. It's a legal block and I wouldn't be mad if Bowe or Avery made that same block to spring Charles.

What, Johnson is supposed to out run Berry and get infront of him? Berry has a superior angle. There's no way for Johnson to get out in front of him or get a good body block on him.

They are the same size. If Berry was a 6' 4" LB then maybe fair enough. Have you not seen some of the body blocks made from that angle?

Sure-Oz 10-28-2013 09:20 PM

Brandon Meriweather said he's going to go after guys knees now since he can't head hunt. That dude needs to get popped

-King- 10-28-2013 09:21 PM

So is this block by the fullback dirty? http://www.nflrush.com/video/chiefs/4869

Strongside 10-28-2013 09:23 PM

That play is not even comparable to the Charles play. Berry wasn't even a factor in that play...Johnson could have easily gotten in front of him and held him up. There was no need for him to go to the ground, turn his head away and roll into Berry's knee from his blind side. It was a dirty play.

Charles HAS to cut on the play he made...not because of size...because the playbook says he HAS to. Read his comments.

That's also Stevie Johnsons assignment on that play. He was assigned to block the safety.

Had potential to be a dirty play. However, he was the lead blocker, was not in the open field and the potential tackler was running straight at him. Also looked like he didn't go for the knees, he went lower. Was basically a running cut block.

In the knees? While Berry isn't looking?

I'm not expecting a reply, but I heard the final news about the injury you sustained at my hands on the field today. Honestly, man, I never intended for you to get hurt- not even have to sit out one play. I'm sorry.

We're not arguing whether it was legal or not. It was.

Doesn't mean it wasnt dirty.

Well, I mean...they DO throw a flag when you hit a receiver that isn't looking. Not saying I like it...but they do.

Only if it's helmet to helmet and the receiver is defenseless.

If we can beat Buffalo there we have turned a corner.

Definitely a huge game. Beating them would be a great way to finish of the first half or so of the season, going into the bye.
