This.

Manning unloads quick

JoeyChuckles 11-17-2013 11:11 PM

I think we held Denver to their lowest point total of the season, in their place no less.

dizz 11-17-2013 11:11 PM

Left it in Kansas

You're not in KansasC anymore

Reerun_KC 11-17-2013 11:11 PM

? It wasnt in Denver.

Actually it disappeared several weeks ago.

TomBarndtsTwin 11-17-2013 11:11 PM

We left it back in KC about 4 weeks ago . . . . .

Hopefully it plans on meeting us there for the Chargers game next week.

petegz28 11-17-2013 11:11 PM

Manning was getting rid of the ball in under 2-3 secs...you aren't going to sack him when he does that

RealSNR 11-17-2013 11:11 PM

Sutton better rape Philip Rivers and hard.

I'm getting sick of this.

Molitoth 11-17-2013 11:14 PM

Peyton Manning has made good defenses look silly his entire career. He is one of if not the greatest QB of all time.

This loss is NOT on our defense.

Exactly. The ****ing pussies here bitching about the lack of defense, when our offense is the one that kept putting Manning back on the field. The defense did its' job. The offense choked. Again.

You're right.

It's on your mom. Just like hobo jizz on her face.

Sacks are just flash stats. Points are what matter, and they've done their job there. Even tonight.

O.city 11-17-2013 11:29 PM

When the ball is coming out that fast, blitz or no blitz doesn't matter.

Our DBS weren't allowed to be physical tonight, if we can't be physical or succeed at being physical, we can't win.

Whosurdaddy 11-17-2013 11:29 PM

Quick passes and holding. It's not complicated. The last two weeks is a different story.

KChiefer 11-17-2013 11:31 PM

It went when Pey-Pey decided to get it out under 2.5 EACH AND EVERY TIME.

the Talking Can 11-17-2013 11:33 PM

peyton doesn't hold the ball and take sacks like smith does...

chiefzilla1501 11-17-2013 11:35 PM

You're nuts if you're going to get upset about this. The defense didn't play lights out, but they did their job. This defense was one broken Marcus Cooper play away from a very strong outing.

Prison Bitch 11-17-2013 11:36 PM

Hali and Houston were dominated tonight. Good thing Denver's best starting OL are out or they would've given up even more points

ShowtimeSBMVP 11-18-2013 12:28 AM

What happened to the D that went after Vick and Romo.

kcchiefsus 11-18-2013 01:41 AM

I believe we have one sack the past three weeks. Pathetic...

Actually, as far as tackles are concerned, they were only missing Clady- who Tamba has owned.

And how bad are things going to be if DeVito and Jackson are out for an extended period of time.

Jfc.

We seemed to do pretty well without them tonight. Who knows, maybe we'll find that Bailey and Catapano are viable replacements.

I'm concerned that the two are a bit small for our base defensive formations though.

KChiefs1 11-18-2013 01:54 AM

1 sack in the last 3 games.

ThPantherFan 11-18-2013 01:54 AM

Sorry about the loss. Chiefs still looking good.

This. I wasn't pinning anything on the defense as a whole. We haven't gotten to the QB. Sure, Manning gets it out quick, but there were other times he stood back there and waited for WRs to come open as well.

I agree, the offense needs to step up, but the pass rush hasn't been there, and this was a game, with Denver sportin' two average Tackles, where we should have gotten better pressure than we did.

Wallcrawler 11-18-2013 04:48 PM

We haven't released the hounds since the Raider game.

Case Keenum we played vanilla against until very very late and when we finally came after the guy, we destroyed him and the defense sealed the victory.

Jason Campbell had an easy day, as did Jeff Tuell, at least on the Sack numbers front.

We haven't been doing anything but lining up man to man and playing D. No sneaky overloads, no exotic blitzes, just hoping that the front four and either Hali/Houston can get through.

That's not really tough to read.

Jimmya 11-18-2013 05:24 PM

It wasn't even man on man. Most of the night it was denver's 5 v chiefs 4.

Deberg_1990 11-18-2013 05:55 PM

Sutton has brought in Romeo Crennel as pass rushing coordinator/tackling consultant
