Playing the Patriots, in New England, in sub-30 temps doesn't bode well for Peyton
So, I'll start with the weather. The forecast for Sunday in New England shows a mostly clear night, HOWEVER, also predicts sub-30 temperatures, and sub-20 real-feel.
http://i.imgur.com/bC7I4Sg.png Peyton's stats for sub-30 temperature games are as follows; 8 games (7 full games), Manning is 2-5 (.400) 175-285 (61.4%), 1761 yards (6.2), 76.7 QB Rating If we extend the temp to sub-32, his rating drops to about 70. As for going up against Brady and the Patriots, Peyton is 4-9 vs Brady all-time, and 6-10 vs Bill Belichick all-time. Despite not being very good, those records aren't horrible either. But, when playing in New England it gets a whole lot worse. When playing in New England (including playoffs), Peyton is 2-9, throwing more interceptions than touchdowns, and has only one game without an INT. Look at this however you want, but combining the fact that Peyton is going into New England where he doesn't usually fair too well, and that it likely going to be well below freezing. This is looking to possibly be a good game. |
This shit is ****ing hilarious...so many people have been predicting doom and failure for Manning ever since he went to Denver and none of it has come true. Give it up already.

Denver doesn't need to have a complete meltdown in order to lose to the Pats in New England. |
Man,Pats D is just ****ed right now.
Not that Brady cant out score the biggest Forehead ever. |

What's the spread on that game?
Prime Time @ the pissed off Pats... I wouldn't be surprised at all to see the Patriots win this one. |
Brady kinda owns Manning.

We control out own destiny so we don't really need to throw ourselves on a pier just yet. The Chiefs need to just beat the Chargers this week. We can't beat the donks till next week so we shouldn't worry ourselves with them until then. Just beat the Chargers!

They didn't have a meltdown vs the Colts. Peyton can have a good day, and still lose. |

What's not to like about DOOM! and failure.
|
I'm dreamin' big, man. Pats beat 'em this week, (we beat the Chargers, obviously)
Then we get our revenge. Boom, two game lead in the division. |

Welker is going to make them pay. they will run it up and then run over that defense. this won't even be close.

Don't mean diddly dick if the Chiefs don't handle their business vs the Chargers.
I'd be more concerned with Rivers coming in here against a defense that suddenly can't seem to get to the quarterback than whatever the hell Peyton and the Broncos are doing. |

Manning's great, he's not super-human (for ****'s sake)
Make no mistake, these next two games are gonna be tough for the Donks. |

Patriots secondary is banged up. Bet heavy on Denver to win. It won't be close.

Chiefs just win. |
After the game I can go back to hating BOTH.
GO PATS! |
It would be awesome to see the Donks lose and get beat up while they do it.

Wasn't Denver supposed to lose because of the weather last week? Didn't we have a double digit lead pretty much the entire game?
|

Kind of goes against the whole point, doesn't it? |
In the last 4 games of 2012, Peyton threw for 1,150 yards, 8 TD and 2 INT.
Awful. |
Doesn't matter at all who wins and loses this week, it's next week that counts. Whoever wins the Chiefs / Denver game will have the #1 seed.
If we win and Denver loses this week and then Denver beats us at Arrowhead , that means both teams are 10 and 2 and Denver will have beat us twice. |
Quote:
Texans Raiders Chargers Titans The Chiefs need to basically win out to win the division, or pray that New England beats Denver so the Chiefs have 1 more game of breathing room. Hello, wild-card! |
Don't give a ****.
We play them in a week. Let's figure it out after playing Sandy Vagina. |

If it were to happen our magic number for the division/#1 seed would be 1 if the Colts drop one during that time as well. |
I've got the pats marked down as the winner, always go with a HOF QB at home... its a very safe bet.

Brain fart. I was trying to determine division winner based on same records. |
Quote:
Conference w/l plays in to tie breakers. If Den lost to the Colts and KC that's two conference losses. If KC were to beat Den and lose to the Skins we'd have only 1 conference loss and win the division... |

Then it would probably skip all the way down to strength of schedule or something has division and conference and common opponents would be the same.
|
Has a wild card team ever been 14-2? That would be a neat record to hold.

Well hell, I guess this doom and gloom prediction turned out to be true. Funny thing is...the Super Bowl is being played outdoors in NYC in February this year. If this is truly an issue for Manning they are pretty much ****ed.

But yeah, if Denver actually does get to the big game, it wouldn't be too far fetched to look forward to a nice loss for them IMO, especially with some of the teams in the NFC. |
