Tom Brady is a hypocrite.

I don't know him at all," Brady said of Sherman. "I've watched him play. He's that kind of guy. So, you know. I approach the game -- and I have respect for my opponents. That's the way our team always plays. We win with graciousness, and when we lose, we could do better. Some teams don't always do that, or that's not their program.

Nah, that wasn't Tom Brady's Patriots that were gathered at midfield at Qualcomm Stadium mocking Shawne Merriman's lights out dance.

I guess that wasn't Tom Brady's Patriots that were mocking the Eagles player's flying motion at the end of the Superbowl either.

**** off and die, Tom Brady. Youre not fooling anyone.

The cognitive dissonance in Foxboro never fails to be stunning.

The Cheatriots have cheated, taunted, and acted like sore losers ever since Belicheat first got there, yet they whine that other teams are classless and sore winners.

Instead of owning up to being outcoached and his mediocre run as GM in recent years (especially on defense), Belicheat's first instinct after losing is to whine about illegal pick plays that his own team runs just as often as Denver does.

After the Spygate scandal, the Cheatriots have no right to be criticizing any franchise for anything, and CERTAINLY don't deserve to be questioning the tactics of other teams.

I cannot wait until Belicheat and Brady retire and Josh McDumbass takes over as coach. Then the Cheatriots will go back to irrelevance and all their douchebag "fans" will go back to rooting for the Giants and Cowboys.

I don't hate winners. I have plenty of respect for franchises like the Ravens and Giants, who have won the right way. I have zero respect for the Donkeys and Cheatriots, who have a history of cheating and classlessness.

Winning the right way = 5 rings
Cheating = 5 rings

Looks like a push. But since cheating has a chance at a sixth ring for now, I'll take cheating.

BossChief 01-20-2014 11:12 PM

Brady's team also cheated to win the superbowl and had draft picks striped away in the process, but they always have the most class, AMIRITE?

The Giants have 8 rings, so combined with the Ravens' 2, that gives winning the right way a 10-5 advantage over cheating.

The Patriots were penalized for violating a 2007 memo. That had nothing to do with any of the Super Bowls.

Here's a tip for you: when you find yourself siding with GoChargers, you should realize that the odds of you being on the right side of the issue are less than the odds of a kicker missing an XP.

Stealing signs is not illegal in the NFL, other top coaches like Cowher and Johnson have acknowledged that they were also trying to steal signals, and my fandom is irrelevant to the discussion.

You mean the thing that never happened and that led to a huge retraction in the paper that originally laid the claim?

Quote:

On Feb. 2, 2008, the Boston Herald reported that a member of the New England Patriots' video staff taped the St. Louis Rams' walkthrough before Super Bowl XXXVI. While the Boston Herald based its Feb. 2, 2008 report on sources that it believed to be credible, we now know that this report was false, and that no tape of the walkthrough ever existed.

Prior to the publication of its Feb. 2, 2008, article, the Boston Herald neither possessed nor viewed a tape of the Rams' walkthrough before Super Bowl XXXVI, nor did we speak to anyone who had. We should not have published the allegation in the absence of firmer verification.

That's because the tapes were destroyed and if you can't prove an accusation, you can get sued if you don't print something like that.

The league doesn't take away a first round pick for minor oversights...

It has nothing to do with the tapes that Goodell had.

Josh McDaniels and the Broncos were also caught taping a walkthrough.

I know for a fact that Haley KNEW McDaniels taped their last practice prior to their game in Denver that year. When Haley wouldn't shake his hand and pointed at him with "there's a lot of shit being talked about you"

He was open to the team about it that he knew it because of the order of the plays and the fact most of them they hadn't run before. A friend of Tony Moeaki called me a couple hours after the game and told me that and I posted it on here somewhere.

Dustin Colquitt said in an interview how mad Haley was about that game and how Josh had openly cheated.

A few weeks later, Josh was fired and the team was accused of cheating by video taping walkthroughs. Didn't they get a fine or a pick taken away then, too?...but anyway...even after his videotaping incident, BB brought him back to NE with open arms and a whole slew of advanced tech cameras for him to place all over the practice facility that are unnoticeable.

Nobody from that organization can try to act like they have more class than anyone.

Whoah! I didn't know about that. Ok, so many questions. I guess the first would be how did they get someone in to allow them to tape Haley's Chiefs practice? I would think that Arrowhead would be guarded against that happening.

He said it happened in Denver, the Broncos wouldn't be able to tape a practice for an away game.

The Chiefs practice field next to arrowhead is locked down.

My nephew had a youth championship game at the practice field this year, and the Chiefs decided to have an extra walk through delaying the youth championship. They wouldn't let anyone in until it was over.

McDaniels denied looking at Scar Jr's tape of the walk through, and the NFL supposedly believed him which is why the fine was so low. The Broncos and McDaniels only got a $50,000 fine. Scar Jr took the blame.

In reality, the NFL wanted to protect the brand just like after NE was caught. They weren't going to publicly admit another team used a taped walkthrough as an advantage.

The walkthrough was never mentioned when the NFL first punished the Pats, either.

It was Matt Walsh who came forward and told him he videotaped the Super Bowl practice walk though of the Rams. That tape never surfaced.

I personally wasn't sure if Walsh was telling the truth, but after McDaniels along with the Pats famed offensive line coach's son, Scar Jr, the writing was on the wall that the Pats did tape those practices.

Scar Jr also ran the Pats video department from 2001-2004, the same span that all 3 of their Super Bowls were won.

Sure, but the comparison was Ravens/Giants to Patriots/Broncos, which is rather random and weird to begin with, but whatever.

Giants have existed since what, the 20s? Pats and Broncos both started in 1960 I believe. Ravens "started" in 1997 or whatever year it was, but they're really the old Browns, with nothing more than a name change. Why not just add all those 50s Browns championships to the count?

Whatever, the entire exercise is meaningless and dumb to begin with, so count 'em however you like.

McDaniels refused to look at the tape, and the Broncos are the ones who brought it all forward to the NFL. The NFL completely cleared McDaniels of any complicity in the wrongdoing regarding the filming. He was fined for not reporting the incident.

Ok, Pats fan.

Sure...the Broncos video department admitted to taping walkthroughs...BUT THEY DID IT FOR NO REASON...JOSH NEVER WANTED TO SEE THE TAPES.

If you actually believe that bunch of nonsense, I have some things for sale on the cheap if your interested.

Let me ask you a question...Mr Apologist for everything to do with the Patriots brand...

If he wasnt gonna use that information, why tape it in the first place?

It's OBVIOUS that this is part of their normal system of doing things.

Oh, I also meant to ask you which part of your post was the truth...

The part where "Super Josh the good patriot" brought it all forward to the NFL....or the part where he was fined because he didnt until they let him know that they knew anyway?

It all has to do with the NFL protecting the can of worms from being opened and therefore hurting the brand...lets not act as if the Broncos or Patriots are above breaking the rules...history proves that to be false...they are both proven cheaters in any way they think they can get away with.

As for your last line, I'm sure you can use google to find the Colquitt quote where he talks about the Broncos and how McDaniels specifically had cheated and played a role in filming their walkthrough.

BossChief 01-21-2014 02:35 PM

The broncos didnt try to cheat by putting Vaseline all over their players...it was an honest mistake. A big vat of Vaseline was being transported above them and it broke and went all over a few players.

The broncos didnt cheat the salary cap, it was an honest mistake. They just forgot to do their bookworm correctly

The Patriots don't tape other teams walkthroughs...they got the biggest draft penalty in NFL history because they made a batch of cookies with the wrong kind of chocolate chips

The pats OC didn't cheat (the same way the pats cheated) when he went to Denver...the guy would never do that, he is my wittle Josh's woshy. He would never do that.

Josh got fined because he had nothing to do with cheating...hahahahaha
