Where do you do your sports betting online at?
 

Danny Parkins won't get off the sports betting shit, but now I think I want to try it out for the Super Bowl. Not necessarily the game itself, but the prop bets look fun.

Prop bets are great. I made a grand this year off Houston and Charles, along with a few other props in other sports.

Houston was set at iirc 6 sacks and Charles at 200 yards rec.

Cool. Just made a dozen or so bets on the game for a grand total of 30 bucks. Never done it before, should make the Super Bowl even more interesting for myself.

My buddy said Bruno Mars will open with "Gorillas" but I think that song sucks. Did it anyways. 1/15 odds. Put down a dollar.

Very good friend of mine lives in Vegas so we chat once a week and discuss the games and the lines. He places all the bets and holds the money until I ask for it or need to send him more. Nothing major, I'm up about $250.00 for the season, but even a small bet on a game makes it interesting. He's moving soon though so I'll be checking out that Bovada place it looks like. The line for how many sacks Justin Houston would get this last year was 7. Easy money taking the over there.

A guy I worked with would allocate $800 per year as his 'fun money. His hobby was betting football. If he blew it all on week 1, then he was done. But the last 3 years he's taken h is famly on vacation.

Not sure how the F he places bets, but he said his friend he went to college with is a Lawyere in Vegas and he has his 'guy'. He always said if I wanted to place a bet to let him know and he'd place it for me. lol

I wonder what kind of bets he's made on this one.

To those saying 5dimes, have you ever actually cashed out?

With Bovada you get your money pretty quickly, as in 2-3 weeks, and it is as easy as logging in and requesting the money and they send you the check.

How does it take you to a dark, dark place?

Yeah it wasn't bad except you have to request a payout on a Monday to avoid fees (you get one free/discounted payout every 30 days). I got a check, but I didn't even see that listed anymore.

I did a payout with Bovada, money was Western Unioned like the next day or the day after.

Had to go to the store and fill out a form to get my money from some dude in Thailand and the clerk surprisingly didn't give it a second glance. Probably thought I was just another Nigerian scam victim.

I believe the WU thing might be a NY-only thing as I think they had issues with their checks in NY or something.

It's ridiculous that we have to go through such roundabout means.

Cashed out multiple times. Had the Western Union info within an hour most of the time.

Maybe I just can't handle gambling, but it took over my life. When I lost, it ruined my day. Even when I won, I was obsessive over what was next.

Probably had a problem, maybe it isn't like that for everyone, although I've talked to other people who used to gamble and they were the same way. Glued to their phones of the TV when the game was on, somewhat oblivious to the outside world. Either way, I'm glad I quit.
