Yeah, ****ing stupid.

Clyde Frog 04-08-2014 02:53 PM

The more important question is, "Why does the all mighty ginger keep tinkering with everything?"

WhawhaWhat 04-08-2014 02:54 PM

Let me know when the 30 days is up and then I'll pay attention.

Mother****erJones 04-08-2014 03:09 PM

Gives us just that much more time to trade away draft picks.

ToxSocks 04-08-2014 03:21 PM

This is one of the most un-exciting offseasons in a long, long time.

Even the F/A we might've signed.....we all knew they weren't going to sign.

This draft....nope....not exciting either.

Beef Supreme 04-08-2014 03:23 PM

Just over 30 days until we take another offensive lineman in the first round.

Coochie liquor 04-08-2014 03:28 PM

..... And then the b!tching increases on here?? Can't hardly wait for that!! "Why did we take him?" "That's a waste of a pick", "our FO doesn't have a clue"....

ct 04-08-2014 03:31 PM

Break out the food stuffs, big fatties await!!

Been a while since a first round kicker.

teedubya 04-08-2014 03:35 PM

This thread is already obsolete.

Deberg_1990 04-08-2014 03:36 PM

ROFL

Coochie liquor 04-08-2014 03:40 PM

1 st round prob be a dl or ol unless someone spectacular drops to us. I'm good with whatever as long as we don't reach for a player. We have plenty of holes to fill so..... Yeah kicker sounds good!!

Hog's Gone Fishin 04-08-2014 03:42 PM

They should begin the draft on April 1st with 1 team picking each day until all 32 have picked and then have round 2 one day and a week later round 3 and a week later 4-7.

You listening Goodell , make it happen !

Edit: Just knocked out 10 more jumping jacks. Too tired to find and click on the fitness thread. .... Mods feel free to move my edit over there.

Or maybe they should put all the eligible draftees on an island and have them compete in events and forge alliances and screw each other over and then we'll have Ryan Seacrest read the results, painfully slowly, of who got voted off NFL island.

TribalElder 04-08-2014 04:00 PM

Tune in for both of our draft picks this year !

TEX 04-08-2014 04:05 PM

Ah yes, the NFL Draft - the place (NOW) where ALL the Chiefs holes will get filled...
Awesome off season plan!

Pasta Little Brioni 04-08-2014 04:12 PM

ChiefsPlanet.

Only here are we pissed off for years because we have too much cap space, and then follow it up by being pissed off because we have no cap space!

If they kept the same draft days I would've been able to watch the first round this year.

RealSNR 04-24-2014 11:51 PM

Why did they move it again? What superficial significance does holding the draft in May mean that will make the NFL an extra $26 versus holding it during its usual weekend?

It was beyond their control.

Radio City Music Hall was already booked for the dates they usually hold the draft on.

Eleazar 04-25-2014 04:43 AM

The draft being later in the spring postpones Chief fan depression, so it's a good thing.

More time for people to watch that God awful movie and brainwash onto a standing ovation.

Deberg_1990 04-25-2014 06:53 AM

I feel like we have been in draft season since last June....

I don't know about beyond their control. They could've booked it a year of 2 ago. It's always this weekend and always at Radio City. Also, they could've changed venues. Radio City isn't the only place that is capable of hosting the draft.

This. They basically did it to spread out the NFL calendar farther. They want to be on the sports fans radar nearly year round. If they are not already
