Eric Berry Press Conference Yesterday

I really like this guy....having the nucleus of Berry, Johnson, Hali, Houston, Poe, Devito etc...I think this defense can be better than it was last year. This guy is a BIG reason.

I really like his attitude. I think he truly loves playing the game.
his play style is like something we saw 25-30 years ago.

TEX 04-22-2014 07:49 AM

They can only be as good as the position the DC puts them in. That's a problem.

InChiefsHeaven 04-22-2014 08:29 AM

Singing alot of praises for Kendrick Lewis...

Chiefs Pantalones 04-22-2014 08:57 AM

The problem is Sutton. He made like two halftime adjustments all year.

A lot of that was losing Flowers.

I get the hate for Sutton, but the D really needs to play better.

Personnel matters. It made Gunther look a genius in the 90s.

You're right. Had nothing to do with Lewis getting burned constantly and injuries, that there were an astronomical number of during the game, or the fact that we seemingly let our foot off the gas on offense. It's all Suttons fault. Almost forgot.

Gravedigger 04-22-2014 10:21 AM

Nope, trade him. Sam Mellinger says so.

Scoring 44 ****ing points and having a 4 TD lead = taking our foot off the gas.

WTH People???

Is it a Nickleback song?

Otter 04-22-2014 11:51 AM

Is it too much to ask for Berry to retire a Chief with a Super Bowl ring?

Favorite player in a long time.

One can ask, but one should not hope.

So after we went up 38-10 at the 13:44 mark if the 3rd you don't think we either let up, or quit doing what was winning us the game offensively?

InChiefsHeaven 04-23-2014 05:17 AM

Even if we DID "let up" offensively, we must have let up WORSE defensively...

Meh. I don't like to think about that game...

Not only would I cut Kendrick Lewis, but I would also cut any other player who speaks well of Kendrick Lewis.

Kiimo 04-23-2014 01:21 PM

Remember when people were saying Eric Berry was overrated? I think we've finally educated all of them right?

When u don't do shit but play base defense like its a preseason game guess what happens when qbs like luck get to play against it. U get carved up with ease. Always remember that the chiefs sent 5 or more players at the qb twice out of 46 plays. That's called playing scared. They played scared and still got thiwer shit pushed in

SAUTO 04-23-2014 06:07 PM

Too bad we couldn't retain Romeo as the highest paid DC. But I get it. Hard to go from a head coach to a DC within the same team. But the players loved that guy.
