Madison Bumgarner was chosen 8 spots below him in the 2007 draft. Imagine him being on our team...... Oh well we can still pull this out, go Royals!!!

To be honest, though, sites like CP and Royals Corner really do get a lot "right" with the draft. Every year, you can read about guys like Wieters, Kershaw, Bum, etc. long before they make it big. It's pretty amazing the knowledge about players that exists out there.

(BTW, most everyone hated the Hooch pick).

The only reason I brought it up was that the biggest thorn in our side is Bumgarner and with moose being chosen second we had the choice. I get that all GM's miss all the time on the draft. Just saying, I like Moose a lot and am glad he is here, but still interesting to think what it would look like with him as the helm. No worries, gooooo royals.....

The thing is. We didn't miss on Moose. He was the right guy. We are in the World Series with Moose with a chance to win the World Series with Moose not that Bum even though that Bum is a hell of a pitcher. We can do it with Moose.

Moose is ****ing terrible. He needs to be replaced next year. Yea yea yea, I know he played well in like half of the post season games. Big ****ing deal. You still need to upgrade at 3B. Don't let this cute small sample size (postseason) mess with your heads. Moose is who we think he is. A .220 hitter who can't even hit more than 20 home runs in a year.
