Predict the wins for the rest of the season

There is another thread on the fron page discussing a playoff push. It piqued my interest and I found myself looking at the rest of the schedule to see where the rest of the wins would need to come from.

So, I'm creating a poll and would like you guys to vote which games you think we win. That way, we can get a feel for which games CP is confident about, or concerned about.

Thanks.

EDIT: I love the mods.

TimBone 11-01-2014 09:38 PM

I'm personally concerned about the Bills game. It is absolutely imperative that the Chiefs win either that one or the Seahawks game. If they drop both of those games, I don't see anything better than 8-8 happening.

Direckshun 11-01-2014 09:39 PM

Yeah, the Buffalo game is a must-win considering the other games on the schedule.

If we drop a game to Buffalo, we've got to play out of our minds just to get to 9-7, and even then, we'd lose a potential tie-breaker to Buffalo...

This changes everything.

It's a game changer, certainly. I'm gonna phone Roger Goodell, and see if he can change the schedule to match my poll.

I think we can get the Seahawks at Arrowhead, I really do... our defense should be able to handle that O.

If our offense can squeak up 20 points, I think we win.

I believe it's possible, but unlikely. If the Chiefs could manage to pull off both the Buffalo game and that home game vs Seattle, it would set them up nicely going forward. All that assuming they win tomorrow.

Lose to the Bills and finally get one on the Broncos. We've shown too much progression playing them the past two years- Peyton, like Rome, will ****ing fall.

Thank you, sir!

Some interesting numbers on there. Even at home, I'd be happy with a 44% chance of beating Denver.

20 voters, and 20 votes for a win vs. the Jets.

OldSchool 11-01-2014 10:12 PM

I can see as many as 7 wins, we'll have a chance in every game.

TimBone 11-01-2014 10:17 PM

It should also be mentioned that the Bills are on a bye this week. Two weeks to prepare.

That game really has me worried now.

See, Tim? HAL 9000 gives us a solid 60% chance of winning!

It's Kyle freaken Orton. The only thing on the Bills that worries me is that defense, they are as good up front as any team that we've faced.

Direckshun 11-01-2014 10:26 PM

The 49ers are just as good up front. We won't abandon the run like we did in San Francisco.

I expect a low scoring affair. But we should shut Orton the **** down. We should also score about 20 points.

Overall it's a very talented team. They don't need a super star QB, they just need competence. I believe Orton provides that.

Gonna be an interesting one. I'll feel much better if the Chiefs get that road win.

TimBone 11-01-2014 10:47 PM

Looks like a mod fixed my poll flub. They really do seem nice.

That's what scares me.

We're talking about a savvy veteran QB who has found his roll, folks. He's in the zone.

6th in yards per attempt
6th in QB rating
9th in yards per game

Be afraid.

I hope they keep the final score within 9.

I picked Jets, Raiders and Raiders.

I'm usually wrong so they'll exceed my expectations and hit that magic 8-8 mark.

The Chargers game could be like a playoff game for us. Win it and earn the right to get bounced in the first round.

Chiefs4TheWin 11-01-2014 11:04 PM

I am concerned about the Jets yet alone the Bills.

They've been blasted all damn week. If they don't get up for this one blow up everything in that franchise. I think they will show their best game of the season against us.

Bills is bad luck city. Always hate going up there. Chan Gailey beat us up there lol.

Have you watched the Seahawks lately? They don't look anywhere near as dominant as they did last year and they struggle even more so on the road. That is a very winnable game for the team.

Being this big of a pessimist can't be any fun at all. It's not that I disagree completely, but the ceiling being a first round loss seems kinda silly in a league like this. Our history notwithstanding.

BullJunkandIron 11-02-2014 06:06 AM

How many times on a row have they been boinced in the 1st round?

ChiliConCarnage 11-02-2014 06:59 AM

I got us for the Jets, Raiders x2, and the Steelers. We probably need to sneak out 1 or 2 of our tough home games. Donks, Seahags, Chargers

58-4ever 11-02-2014 07:06 AM

If we lose to the Jets, just pack it up and pack it in

ILChief 11-02-2014 07:06 AM

Jets, bills, raiders, raiders, steelers, chargers

Mr. Arrowhead 11-02-2014 07:07 AM

Seahawks are shitty road team and even lost to a terrible St Louis team

Mr. Arrowhead 11-02-2014 07:09 AM

I got us with Jets, Buf, Sea, Oak X2, and SD to get us to 10-6

jjchieffan 11-02-2014 07:26 AM

I picked us winning them all. Do I think we will? No. But this team is good enough to win every one of them. After losing to the Titans game I expected a loss every week. But they've righted the ship and now I watch every game expecting a win. Even against Dungver

spanky 52 11-02-2014 07:28 AM

9 and 7.

Jets Bills and Raiders twice unless we get real lucky and if you get lucky you will sweep the Bolts

I'll tell you what. The Cardinals game is gonna be one hell of a defensive ball game.
