Wow. But do any 'successful' NFL head coaches ever go back to the college game?

Hammock Parties 12-17-2014 08:08 PM

Harbaugh date raped us, wiped his dick off on the curtains and got the hell out of there.

Even if he doesn't (and I don't want him in ann arbor under any circumstances...) michigan is completely ****ed now, throwing him that offer. They'll be unbelievably overpaying somebody now, whether it's him or someone else.

TimeForWasp 12-17-2014 08:11 PM

The Raiders offered him 3rd and 38.

What's your deal with Harbitch?

I want to punch the mother****er in the throat, but if he were to go to KU, I'd cum.

That's a lot of dough man. And a lot of years.

I think he's an overrated asshole who's going to continue flushing the program down the toilet. I can't think of anyone I'd want less at this point, aside from maybe Les Miles.

But hey, he's who everybody there wants. Hope they're right and I'm wrong.

Would rather him be a Raider . He'd fit in nicely there since he has no people skills.

I think Turner Gill, Charlie Wies, and Squimin Herman Mother****ing Sack of ****ing **** Edwards will likely take the gig for that dough.

Eleazar 12-17-2014 08:24 PM

Overrated. He did bring continuity to that franchise, but he also is in the process of burning it down with his ego and his commitment to a garbage QB

Difficult to say after the last 20 years, but you can't really compare KU football to UM football. We're talking the most wins in NCAA football history and hanging around with Notre Lame for highest win percentage in history. Lots of tradition, despite recent struggles (which probably wouldn't even be an issue right now if they'd kept Rich Rodriguez, but that's another thread...).

As a Buckeye fan I hope you are right(if he signs there) but think you are wrong. Michigan has a massive amount of money from the school and alumni. I don't think money will be an issue, no matter how much they give him or anyone else. But as for Harbaugh, I think he will be fantastic back in college. You guys never struggle with recruiting. It's just the scheme and/or getting the best out of the players. I don't see him failing with either of those two things.

Rudy tossed tigger's salad 12-17-2014 08:33 PM

Keg loves being miserable. No other explanation for not wanting Harbaugh or Miles.

'Hamas' Jenkins 12-17-2014 08:34 PM

M Night Harbaughlan needs to get out of SF while he still has a reputation worth protecting.

2008 KU won the Orange Bowl.

Prior to Squirmin Herman Mother****ing Sack of ****ing **** Edwards, KC had nice tradition and winning percentage.

My point is that it can always get worse.

It actually can't get much worse, not after Lloyd Carr in the late 90s and early '00s, and the continued influence he's had on the program ever since. He's responsible for kicking Rodriguez out (who's now winning with Arizona, and is responsible for all Brady Hoke's wins in his first season) and bringing Hoke in.

Schools with a century of tradition shouldn't be dropping games to Appalachian ****ing State. Ever.

That's how bad it's gotten in Ann Arbor. They aren't relevant anymore.

Harbaugh should help with that, being the big, recognizable name. I still don't like it.

Miles would be starting a rebuild at 62 years of age. That's why I don't want him. Although I'm not his biggest fan as a coach, either. But they should be looking for somebody who can have a long tenure in Ann Arbor, not an old coach. I mean, sure, he's not Bill Snyder exactly, but he's still old.

I don't like Harbaugh. At all. It doesn't have anything do with wanting to be miserable. I don't think he can duplicate what he did at Stanford. I think there's a ton of signs in SF that he's trouble waiting to happen.

And it might not even be anything to worry about, because he could just be playing Michigan for a bigger NFL deal.

Bill Callahan took the Raiders to the Super Bowl then went on to ruin the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Mark Davis will not only meet that offer, he'll sweeten the deal by throwing in an Intellivision Game Console and, AND, a Lock n' Chase cartridge too... But that's not all. He also gets FIVE Mr. Pibbs a day. FIVE!

Titty Meat 12-17-2014 09:58 PM

Huh? Harbaugh will compete for titles.

He said successful. Callahan was not truly successful in the NFL. He just followed what Chucky had going before. As soon as he started to having to be a real NFL HC he failed.

Pete Carrol did. I know some would argue that he wasn't successful in NE because he didn't win a superbowl but he got them back on the map for Bill to put over the top.
