NFL Playoff Predictions 2015

Alright, step right up and show us what a football guru you are.

AFC

1) New England 12-4
2) Denver 12-4

3) Pittsburgh 11-5 vs. 6) Baltimore 10-6
4) Indianapolis 11-5 vs. 5) Cincinnati 10-5-1

NFC

1) Seattle 12-4
2) Green Bay 12-4

3) Dallas 12-4 vs. 6) Detroit 11-5
4) Carolina 7-8-1 vs. 5) Arizona 11-5

Remember the lowest remaining seed after the first week plays at the #1 seed. The higher remaining seed plays the 2nd seed.

007 12-28-2014 10:34 PM

Go Detroit or Arizona or Cincinnati

Mile High Mania 12-28-2014 10:37 PM

Steelers, Colts, Cowboys and Cardinals win. If there is a home team to lose (in those other 3 games), give me Dallas.

TribalElder 12-28-2014 10:42 PM

Denver loses in the divisional round

Why Not? 12-28-2014 10:47 PM

Sadly, I think it's gonn be a short rooting interest playoffs for you. I don't think Staffords first win on the road against a winning team is coming in the playoffs. Andy Dalton will Andy Dalton. As much as it pains me, since I live here and all, the Cards are just to banged up.

I wish the Cardinals would win. Oline is not good and they have no running game. Carolina's D line is gonna rape. Also, mobile QBs give the Cards D a lot of problems.

GoChargers 12-28-2014 11:30 PM

I just want anyone other than the Patsies or Donks to win it all. I'll even gladly accept the Steelers or Cowboys winning it. I just don't want Goodell to get his nauseating wet dream of Brady or Fivehead going out on top.

Agreed. I'll be rooting for the Cardinals in the NFC, and the Bengals in the AFC.

Odds are it's going to be the usual suspects unless Cincy does something. The Pats/Colts/Broncos/Ravens/Steelers have been the AFC Champ every year this century except one thus far. This year will make it 14 out of 15.

MMXcalibur 12-28-2014 11:35 PM

Dallas over Detroit
Carolina over Arizona

Pittsburgh over Baltimore
Indianapolis over Cincinnati

Seattle over Carolina
Green Bay over Dallas

Pittsburgh over Denver
New England over Indianapolis

New England over Pittsburgh

Green Bay over New England

The Colts, Ravens, and Steelers are still preferable to Brady or Fivehead. I just can't stand either one of them, or those shit-eating bandwagon fanbases.

Ming the Merciless 12-28-2014 11:36 PM

Next year?

tk13 12-28-2014 11:40 PM

And if you add the Bills to that above list, those six teams will have won 26 of the last 30 AFC titles. Parity!

That's an amazing stat though. If you are under 40-45 years old, the Patriots, Broncos, Colts, Ravens and Steelers have dominated the AFC pretty much your entire football life.

Red Dawg 12-28-2014 11:41 PM

Seattle and anyone but Denver or Pats but the Pats look like they will make it this time.

Seattle is champ again.

Hootie 12-28-2014 11:47 PM

I'll go with Seattle / Baltimore.

I say Baltimore because I consider them to be the ****ing worst playoff team out of the 12 teams in the hunt and I know how much God hates me and I know how much God knows I hate Joe Flacco so I assume, by some unbelievable miracle, the Ravens will find a way to win the whole god damn thing, even though they are god damn terrible.

FloridaMan88 12-28-2014 11:55 PM

I am rooting for both Cincy and Detroit to each win playoff games to put Clark's clown operation at the top of the list in terms of longest active drought without a playoff win.

Maybe that will finally up the pressure on this franchise to aggressively try to end this pathetic streak.

Chiefaholic 12-28-2014 11:55 PM

As long as it's not the God damn cheatin' Donks, I don't give a ****.

Bugeater 12-28-2014 11:56 PM

RunKC 12-29-2014 12:23 AM

Seattle wins it all again over New England

TEX 12-29-2014 12:25 AM

I'm sticking with my preseason prediction of New England over Green Bay.

Joe Seahawk 12-29-2014 01:02 AM

The Seahawks are going to win the Super bowl I have never been so confident in a situation like this before.. It will happen, bet on it.

Hootie 12-29-2014 01:03 AM

got them at 8:1 when I was in Vegas ; pretty happy about that

won't hedge until the Super Bowl

$100 to win $800

Hootie 12-29-2014 01:08 AM

I am definitely a Seahawks bandwagoner when the Chiefs get eliminated. Man crush on Russell is huge, and I love how they play defense. I even like Carroll.

I have a feeling the AFC is going to be a crapshoot. I think it'll be someone other than Denver or New England.

I can totally see that.

Mile High Mania 12-29-2014 07:55 AM

I'd like to see Green Bay or even Dallas advance in the NFC. Obviously, I don't want to see the Seahawks go for #2.

And, based on the last month - hard to bet against NE. PITT can be scary, but NE is the safe bet to advance.

From a pure "what type of game do I like to watch", I'd like to see a combo of one of these in the SB --- Packers, Cowboys, Broncos, Patriots. I'm not getting all wrapped up on a SB or failure deal with Denver this year... it's been a fun season, and they could advance and against the right team, they could win it. But, I'm just going to do my best to just enjoy the playoffs.

Possibly, but I doubt it - they'll have to start paying a lot of these guys and things will even out more than they did this year. Injuries and new contracts catch up with every team.

I keep telling myself that but in my heart I think they've built something that can't be stopped (that stadium is evil), if someone gets hurt they will just plug in another guy and won't miss a beat. I've never seen anything like Russell Wilson, short of him getting injured they can't be stopped and arent going anywhere soon. :(

I hate Dallas, but would love to see that matchup again.

LOL Seattle is done for another 20 or more years. They hold no national interest.

who ever wins the Dallas- Detroit game is the one going to the SB vs Denver.

either Pitt or Colts play Denver.

Watch, that means it will be the Bengals playing Denver but still losing LOL

I'm right about games being staged no matter who wins. Because how ever it happens will be an unrealistic, absurd fashion that you make excuses for.

Hootie 12-30-2014 02:36 PM

oh ok

so no matter how many times you are wrong (and you're wrong every week), it doesn't matter, the games are staged because you know they are staged

I'm finally sold.

For the record, if Pitt beats Baltimore Pitt is going to beat Denver and I think Pitt will go to the Super Bowl, and then lose to Seattle.

where have I been wrong every week ? I said the cards would suck at the beginning of the season. It took all season but they do in fact suck. Also, IA'm not as dumb as you to believe they can have 11 wins with all the crap that happened to them. Its a lie, therefore I am not wrong.

I said Denver was going to the SB, I'm not wrong about that no matter how many afc games I got wrong. You need to comprehend things beyond a 3rd grade level

jd1020 12-30-2014 02:42 PM

I want to see someone different in the SB.

So I guess I'm rooting for Cincinnati vs Dallas? Not sure in the NFC. Lions and Panthers would definitely be different but I don't think either has a legit shot to do anything.

This! But he likely woulda went elsewhere and we would have gotten Lovie Smith! How shift would that have been? Very!! Also I Bell plays Pit is gonna be tough. But I'd love to see Indy take 5head out! Get bit by his old team and the new sheriff in his old town! But I don't think Indy can beat them and I think Pit can.
And Dallas O line is capable of pushing around any defense in the NFC. Don't leave it up to Romo, just run the ball and eat clock.

LOL again, I already explained how I haven't been wrong. Tell me where the Cardinals are actually good and why you are so dumb to believe they should win a game not scoring a TD with a 3rd string QB. Your pathetic answer will be the NFL mantra ---anything can happen)))) which means you have no answer. I haven't been wrong once. All Ive done is pick the wrong story line.

wrong at every turn ? no.. I picked buffalo to beat GB and I picked KC to beat SD without a starting QB. And many other games that you thought were shoe-ins that went the other way.

even after losing a starter when the back up hardly ever played. I'm not the moron. You should be questioning why the line never moved. KC was favored and yet the majority still bet on SD to win or cover or what ever..

Sure, the losses in the 80s and earlier this year sting like hell... but getting there is an accomplishment. Maybe I'm a sadist, but I'll take that over not advancing or flaming out early every season.

I'm going to do this by round:

Wild Card:

I think Cincy beats Indy convincingly. I think Hill/Bernard combine for 3 TD's and Dalton has an efficient game and Cincy wins by 7+

Pitt over Baltimore. I think Pitt wins pretty easy but you never know with Baltimore, somehow, who can look like shit all year and somehow put it together in the postseason. That said. Pitt over Balt.

Carolina cruises to an easy victory against 'Zona. Carolina is hot at the right time.

Dallas beats Detroit; Romo has a good game. Dez goes for 2 TD's.

Pro Bowl game sucks

New England vs Green Bay

Packers are champs.

Changed my mind on Arizona. Cam is hot at the perfect time. I think Detroit is going to steal their game too now.

Revised:

Detroit at Seattle
Carolina at Green Bay

Cincinnati at New England
Pittsburgh at Denver

Green Bay at Seattle
Pittsburgh at New England

Crappy pro bowl game

New England vs Green Bay

Packers are Champions

Indy is playing so bad heading into the playoffs ... I think Lewis is a better coach than Pagano ... and I just think Indy is a bad playoff team.

Everyone also expects them to win because Dalton "sucks" in the postseason (stupid).

...and I think Jeremy Hill and Gio Bernard are going to pound Indy on the ground which is going to open up AJ Green and the play-action game.

Plus, they are pretty efficient in the screen game, as well, with Bernard on the field.

And Indy starts slow, and make a lot of unforced errors ... and they start slow against Jeremy Hill, they are ****ed.
