Chiefs Bar in Oregon

Anyone know of a Chiefs bar in the Beaverton/Portland/Vancouver area? Just relocated from donktown and looking for someplace to watch other than BWW this season.

Sorry Rainman - I did enjoy the draft party at your house a couple years ago though.

A & L Sports Bar

Cool place to watch on Sunday’s, a good cheap all you can eat breakfast and lots of micro beers on tap. Range from 5-20 Chief fans.

5933 NE Glisan St, Portland

Hop Haven

Hi – I own a Chiefs bar in Portland, Oregon called Hop Haven at 2130 NE Broadway. Chiefs games always get priority on the bigscreen with sound. Link to our website below – would be great if you could add it to the Arrowhead Addict site. Thanks, Jeff 503-332-3373

D’s Bar

(Neon sign out front says Driftwood Tavern)

6732 NE Sandy Blvd

Portland, OR 97213-5252

(503) 281-1276

I have been trying to tell any Chiefs fans I come across about D's Bar because it is actually our very own Chiefs bar. They have drink specials for the Chiefs and a different breakfast special (early games start at 10AM out here) every week for the game. The Chiefs get full priority over everyone and we get to listen to the games with sound. This year the atmosphere has been unbelievable. Dennis, aka D, is from Iowa so he and his family are Chiefs fans.

Strangely I know of none. I know when the neighbor & I took the train up to Seattle for the last game it was 50/50 but coming home was more like 80/20 Chief fanz.

I'm a loner I guess since I stay home & watch them on ST since '97.

Welcome to the NW. The Rocky Mountain range is beautiful, don't get me wrong, but I think the Cascades & the Pacific Northwest is just a bit grander.

Born & raised in Hays, Ks. until around '92.

Last time I went there to watch a Chiefs game, there were LOTS of friendly guys. They bought me lots of drinks, then gave me couple shots of some "home made" drink they called a Butt Stretcher. Don't remember much after that. Woke up the next day in the middle of a park wearing a thong that wasn't mine. And boy did my ass hurt!! That shot is no joke!!

I don't know, most of them looked white. But they were sure dressed funny.
Almost reminded me of that time I saw the Village People??

Thanks everyone. I will definitely try some of these, well, other than the Blue Oyster. Too many cops hang out there to dance.

I probably would too, but the apartment I am in for now I can't get DTV. Too many trees. Also, being new to the PNW I would like to get out and meet other Chiefs fans.

Toadkiller 06-13-2015 08:59 PM

Welcome to Portland!
I use my parents direct tv account and just watch the game at home. That chiefs bar sounds cool though, Id go there for one of the late games just to watch with other fans for once.

BullJunkandIron 06-13-2015 09:05 PM

Too many crazy bitches in the PNW. Bat shit train wreck crazy types.
