RealSNR 07-15-2015 10:12 AM

Justin Houston is a Chief longterm. And Black Bob disappears for good.

The only thing that would make this day any better is if the Donks and Cowboys miss the deadline to resign Thomas and Bryant, and they have to pay out the ass and give Goodell handies for the next 6 seasons

It's going to happen. No way that Thomas or Bryant sign for $12 million a season.

Per Joel Corry

Chiefs should pick up at least $5M of salary cap space from Justin Houston's deal based on how their biggest contracts are structured.

First, learn to ****ing link, you useless ****ing moron.

Second, If the Chiefs are smart, they don't structure the contract to give them that much cap space this season.

Anybody can do the math. At an even break all 6 years, that's over 16 million, that's a nice cap hit. Of course I'm sure that the hit this year will be less impacting, which only means the hit in the future years will be even more impacting.

Nobody gives 2 ****s about you're ****ing approval. You think you're something relevant because you have no life and hang around these boards in an unhealthy fashion? Come back to planet earth, you in denial, senile, dumb ****. I'll punch your ****ing mother right in her ****ing twat.

Changing teams is a story, staying put is just status quo.

The only people who care are AFC west fans - those who love Houston and those who fear him. Great day in the morning!

Well at $17 million/season w/ $52 million guaranteed - the cap hit's gonna hurt either way.

It's a big hit but that's what you save your space for.

They have an estimated 50 million dollars in cap space next year prior to this deal.

This deal has little cap implications in future years with the rising cap.

This is a great day for the Chiefs, not so much for the bitch whiners that want to complain about everything.

Exactly. The cap is expected to take a huge jump in 2016 with reports as high as $163 million, which will easily cover Houston's hit.

This is a good deal for Houston and the Chiefs.

Everyone should be all smiles.

ThaVirus 07-15-2015 10:29 AM

I'm guessing we'll see the largest cap hit next season knowing we have a decent amount of breathing room coming this offseason.

I'm seriously hoping for no $20+ mil cap hits.
