Kauffman Beer Prices

According to this study, there's 13 clubs in MLB that have better prices on stadium beer than the Royals. KC is 17th highest. Boston is the worst, Anaheim is the cheapest.

Lots of times what I will do is buy all my favorite beverages and food and put them somewhere cold, then when the game comes on I will watch it on my T.V. so I can save a shit load of money instead of wasting time and money on a kids game.

When I lived in Texas, Nolan Ryan lowered all of the beer prices and I thought that was awesome. I also had one of the $26 chilli cheese hot dogs, which were also awesome.

That is all. Beer should be cheaper, I'd drink more.

Pablo 07-16-2015 01:10 PM

I usually buy the 25 oz. domestics. They're like 10.50. I don't think that's all that absurd.

Drink a few before you go in and a couple of tall boys and I'm usually good.

Hootie 07-16-2015 01:12 PM

I was at the Cubs/Sox game a week ago and it's $8.50 for a Bud Light or $9 for a 312. Pretty easy choice, there.

Man I wish I had that situation. You fellow American bros have it GOOD!

Come down to hoserville in ****ing Toronto Canada and they charge us like $11.50 for a tall can(500ml) of what? Budweiser :whackit: Plus the Bluejays are under .500 and were getting ripped off for beer.

If you want to say **** Canada or Canada sucks point to this post and I will concur with you.

You can get those at the gas station for 2.50

ChiTown 07-16-2015 02:28 PM

I'll drink a MAX of two beers inside the stadium. It's just ****ing assinine to spend that sort of money on beer. GFY, professional sports!

Deberg_1990 07-16-2015 02:29 PM

Maybe They don't want people drinking too much and driving home drunk??

No, that's why they cut everyone off after the 7th inning.

Sure, but as far as marked up beer prices go at a sports/concert venue, it isn't a bad deal.

Bob Dole has never purchased a beer at either stadium.

Hootie 07-16-2015 03:34 PM

two sides to the coin

if beers were say, $3 a pop ... I'd probably drink 15.

Since they are like $10 a pop ... I'll drink 3 or 4, be pissed off I'm not drunk, but at least savor the piss water flavor of the $10 Bud Light

it really starts to suck when you are there with 3 pals and have to buy $40 rounds of 16 oz. beers

That's why you pre-drink.

It's simple go to the beer store and buy some mix n matches. They sell tall boys for what? $2-3 bucks a can. You could buy 15-20 tall boys for the price of $40 bucks. Split that between you and your bros and you're drinking a sixer each.
Now how much would you actually save is the question? Well you said $40 of rounds of 16oz between 3 ppl. Let's assume you and your 3 bros plan to drink a sixer each and buy 2 rounds each, that's $80 bucks bro.

You could go to the beer store and buy 3 sixers for $40 bucks. But get your bros to chip in. Figure $40 bucks divided by 3 that's $13.33 bucks per bro spending. Take $80 bucks subtract it by $13.33 bucks and you save yourself $66.70 bucks bro.

Nobody ever thought of drinking before the game. Thanks Canada.

I'll give you mother****ers Clamato, but only the Picante flavor. And only if you're mixing it with tequila. And **** calling it a Cesar.

kstater 07-16-2015 04:50 PM

16 oz tank 7 is 11 bucks. Not bad for stadium prices. Cooler nights I was drinking boulevards imperial stout for 11 bucks.

Yeah, I know I'm in the minority on that one. Try the picante one mixed with some shoulder hair inducing tequila and a couple squeezes of lime though.

Its like they cancel each other out.

Haha...listen guy, I was trying to do you a favor when you tried suggesting "tailgating" to KC people on a Chiefs message board. But since you want to be a dick, I'm taking syrup off the menu for when you tongue swab out my butthole.

Americans take syrup off the menu? Impossible.

BWillie 07-16-2015 07:00 PM

I have a solution. Purchase the beer belly flask http://www.amazon.com/The-BeerBelly-.../dp/B001RB2CXY. Go to the koisk to sign up as a designated driver, they give you a free soda voucher. Buy soda, use flask to insert into coke.

Winning.
