Donate a Coke to the Troops.

Click this link and Kroger will donate a free can of Coca-Cola to United States troops. The goal is to accumulate 100,000 cans.

This reminds me. I've been drinking bacardi white rum mixed with Dr. Pepper tonight because I wanted to have something different this weekend, and it's ****in terrible. ****. Next week, I'm back on my normal whiskey.

I have a 20 oz coke in the fridge for the crown& cokes I was supposed to have. My wife let me go to the only bar in town after work yesterday. Ended up drinking two to many Tank 7's.

Shaid 07-18-2015 11:32 PM

I don't drink it either but it's free pop for the troops so I'm clicking the link.

Oh well done, sir. You have completely derailed my point that soldiers are in no grave danger of having a ****ing Coca Cola.

Who gives a **** what some of you ****ers personal health choices are? I have my own as well, but maybe if my ass is 2000+ miles from home, in Assholistan, I might like a Coca Cola. Maybe just one.

The responses posted here are a PERFECT example of what is wrong with the US:

Some of you dipshits actually believe that you can tell me what the **** to eat and drink.

The obesity rates in the USA skyrocketing everywhere except at the planet where everyone is a Jack LaLane swimming the English Channel towing a boat with his teeth. All the while finding time to to veg out on coach and post about the evils of a Coke. I just clicked a 6 pack there way and more after the Royals game.

It's a war zone. Tons of people trying to kill you. If you survive, when you get back to the states you can worry about that Coca-Cola you had during the war.

Hog's Gone Fishin 07-19-2015 02:30 PM

Can somebody provide a link to donate whiskey to put in their coke ?

Mr. Laz 07-19-2015 03:21 PM

Click this link and give our U.S. Solders a joint.

If it puts a smile on their face for just a minute while they are over there, it is worth whatever damage it caused to those pearly whites.

Coke used to be really good, but in the 80s they changed the recipe and called it "New Coke" for about a year then they dropped the "New" and just called it Coke. It was awful so I stopped drinking it, switched to RC and never looked back.

You realize the formula used today is the same formula used before the "New Coke" debacle of the 80s.

RobBlake 07-19-2015 04:32 PM

lol at the idiots that think occasional partaking in coke = diabetes.

Oh shit. To hell with RC then. Back to Coke! Wish they had ChiefPlanet back then, would have saved me a few decades of drinking RC.

It's a PR stunt for Kroger disguised as a marginal benefit for the troops. Let's assume that they're paying $6 for 24-packs of coke, which is what I paid at my store today. (Their costs are way lower than that, but we'll give them the benefit of the doubt.) That means they will spend a whopping $25k on this, but benefit from 100k people visiting their website and clicking on a link, and many more will see it by it being shared on social media.

I don't fault those who want to do it, but forgive me for not being all excited by this.

If it's good enough for our politicians, then by God, it is good enough for our troops!
