I really hope this guy succeeds....just to see what he does from year to year.

RealSNR 07-31-2015 02:13 PM

It's the best we've been able to do since Jared Allen showed up to camp in his ride with the longhorn hood ornament.

FIRE THE SWAG COACH!

DaneMcCloud 07-31-2015 02:14 PM

Love the jorts.

Baconeater would be proud.

:D

ToxSocks 07-31-2015 02:16 PM

And just like that, Eric Kush surpasses Catapano as camp fan favorite.

Hydrae 07-31-2015 02:29 PM

Sounds nice!

About time we had a redneck to replace Jared Allen.

Jiu Jitsu Jon 07-31-2015 02:32 PM

Could've sworn that was Boomer Grigsby.

Hope it pays off

I don't know how many people remembe, but the thing is he looked excellent in space moving around on tape. Very light on his feet. With that added size/strength he should be much improved from the guy who started in SD his rookie year. I don't think the dropoff is going to be as significant as most expect. By all accounts he knows the offense inside and out and has been the guy helping the new offensive linemen (Grubbs/Morse) get acclimated.

Here's to hoping! :toast:

aturnis 08-01-2015 03:29 AM

I know he's ridiculously fast off the snap. He's also got the most experience, it's obviously his job to lose. I think he had a good chance with that physique and the right attitude. Sure showed well against San Diego.

That's what constantly stood out to me watching him against SD and then in last years PS.

By the time the quarterback gets the ball, Kush was already 2 steps into his pull. He might be a top 5 center as far as mobility goes.

Hopefully he has improved his functional strength enough that he can handle the larger NTs and not get pushed back too much. I think that was the knock on him in the draft process.

To me, it seems he has drastically improved his core strength (he is a lot more muscular in his core than he was as a rookie) and if he hasn't lost his mobility in the process and he has adequately picked up the mental part of making the line calls (this is my concern), we might have a solid starter at center.

Seems to be the question... He doesn't seem have that huge lower body base you'd want to see for a shorter guy.

I see people in Los Angeles wearing jorts all the time, which for some reason, is a hilarious word to me. I don't own any (although I did in the early 90's) but I don't think they're indicative of a certain region.

Yeah, I think it's more age. I wore them in my 20s.

Nice work jeep marytr. But I have taken several jeep tours and rock climbing tours in southern California. Spend alot of time in the palm springs and Ontario areas each year.

You couldn't of been more wrong about jeeps in California.
