I really hope this guy succeeds....just to see what he does from year to year.
|
It's the best we've been able to do since Jared Allen showed up to camp in his ride with the longhorn hood ornament.
FIRE THE SWAG COACH! |
Love the jorts.
Baconeater would be proud. :D |
And just like that, Eric Kush surpasses Catapano as camp fan favorite.
|
Sounds nice!
About time we had a redneck to replace Jared Allen. |
Who?
|
Could've sworn that was Boomer Grigsby.

Look at a picture of him from his rookie year and look at the picture now. Looks like he's really been hitting the gym hard.
Hope it pays off |

If this guy fails, it wont be for a lack of brute strength or proper attitude.

Lewdog doesn't not approve of his brodozer.

If he can be a solid center for us, it's gonna be HUGE for the progression of the OL and the offense as a whole.

In.

If this guy can play as well as he looks, the Chiefs have not only a ten year starter but genuine folk hero on their hands.
Here's to hoping! :toast: |
I know he's ridiculously fast off the snap. He's also got the most experience, it's obviously his job to lose. I think he had a good chance with that physique and the right attitude. Sure showed well against San Diego.

I feel so much better about these Dorsey guys going forward than I did about pioli picks.

By the time the quarterback gets the ball, Kush was already 2 steps into his pull. He might be a top 5 center as far as mobility goes. Hopefully he has improved his functional strength enough that he can handle the larger NTs and not get pushed back too much. I think that was the knock on him in the draft process. To me, it seems he has drastically improved his core strength (he is a lot more muscular in his core than he was as a rookie) and if he hasn't lost his mobility in the process and he has adequately picked up the mental part of making the line calls (this is my concern), we might have a solid starter at center. |

The Brodie Croyle of the offensive line...
|
How much does Kush weigh? He's muscular but he looks small. Will he be able to handle 330+ lbs NTs?

This guy's nickname will be "Eric Mush" after DTs stomp a mudhole in him.

Chiefs fans embraced mulleted country boy Jared Allen. Kush has a similar vibe. I thought Chiefs fans might like the crazy country appeal. FFS. |

Just because I LMAO at the stereo type makes me a martyr? Okay I will take your word for it. Glad I could fall on the sword to save humanity, KC and Kush. |
