I didn't miss it. Yeah, Bum got a ton of praise...but he also put on an historic performance. If he didn't beat our asses so badly, there wouldn't have been anything for the announcers to drool over.

Maybe it just came across like that since he pimped the Giants the Entire series, would get giddy when they had a lead and when he did actually talk about the Royals it was negative comments.

He talked non-stop about Bumgarner-even on his off days-total infatuation.

Silly. What difference would it make anyway? He's not controlling the play on the field or the outcome of the game. People cry about the announcers' bias as if it is the umpire/referee.

Face it, he WILL mention how good Josh Donaldson is. He will mention all the HRs the BJs hit. And they are worth mentioning. And while we have a bunch of good players, we don't have a bunch of guys with offensive numbers like theirs.

OK, lets not get stupid here. He is very good at his job. Thats not in question. What he did during the WS was way overboard. The sad thing is that he refused to acknowledge that he did it even after getting called out for it. Not just by Royals fans. Other teams fans were blasting him as well.

He sucks calling football games as well. He rarely adds anything of value, mostly cliches that have been used to death while staring down at Aikman's bulge.

Joe Buck is a great announcer. He was hyping Bumgarner because he was kicking our ass. If we had a pitcher who was terrorizing the other team, or a hitter who was mashing a ton of home runs in a series, we'd receive the same treatment.

Bumgarner was the story of the 2014 world series, and its dumb to get butthurt at Buck for recognizing that.

I generally agree, but you just weren't paying attention when Buck was talking while Bum was pitching. Joe was gushing. It was quite obvious.

Sports fans in general always get so butthurt and stupidly scream "bias!" whenever announcers praise the other team. The Royals had plenty of national slobbering in the run to the WS. And then Bum dominated. In between, they still slobbered over Ventura and Cain and some others, but yeah, the team that won and the guy with the historic, dominating performance got most of the praise. So what.

And, I don't like Buck. I just find the criticism more over-the-top and irritating than he is.

Joe Buck is a damn good announcer. Maybe not the best but he is extremely good and anyone who claims otherwise is a fool.

People dislike him because of his Cardinal past and his dad which is ironic because he now avoids the Cards like the plague and never says anything positive about them anymore.

I used to think Buck was unbearable, then Collinsworth hit prime time. His love for Manning is almost sickening to listen to.

So you were fine hearing an extended interview on Bumgarners off day-while the Royals were batting? No respect at all for our team. Buck was the worst one of the bunch and talked Non-stop about him. And the Royals were the story of the year-period. They barely came up short- but were still the better team.
