Let's go to the World Series again.
|
Let's take this. In for the win.
|
Blue Birds time has come to an end.
|
Lotta Texas Ranger fans hoping we celebrate on that field tomorrow
|
I would love to jump on Estrada tomorrow. Their bullpen is a mess. Apparently Aaron Loup had to leave for home for a family matter. No way Hendriks pitches in this game. Same with Tepera. Mark Lowe threw almost 30 pitches.
That leaves LaTroy Hawkins, Sanchez and Osuna. I'm guessing they'll just throw Lowe out there again if they have to... but Estrada pretty much has to go six. They basically have two fresh pitchers down there, and one of them has a blister and the other has a cracked nail and can't throw his slider. |

In, by the way. |
Need the Royals and Mets to win and I'll be all over some WS tix at Citi Field.

In it to win it. Being sick and all.

When does CoMo's ban end?
If we get to the WS and win it all, it's going to be so sweet not having him around to celebrate it with us |
I hate to admit this, but there are slight mixed feelings when you have tickets for Game 6 and 7.
I want them to win tomorrow, period. I don't want to risk any comebacks. But a little part of me wouldn't be too upset if they had to clinch here. I was at the ALDS and ALCS clinchers year and the ALDS clincher this year, and it is an awesome experience. The crowd is turned up to 10 and every pitch is a drama. Came close to having that experience at the WS, but, you know... |
I'm supposin' I'll watch. Ummm hmmm.
You alright nasty? |
Let's roll.
|
We should bag on Rios again and see if he responds. lol
|
alnorth started thread = win (when his internet connection doesn't mess up and he has to start it late)

Gibbons has already said that Price and Stroman will go if necessary. If we get to Estrada, and they have to use Price and/or Stroman for more than a few hitters each, then even if we lose that means it's RA Dickey again for game 6 or 7. Yes, please. |
Let's end this today. We should play loose and let hit fly with the pressure being all on them.
We got this! |

Harvesting fall crops, but my radio works well in my combine! Stick it to em, guys!

I imagine Wade is going 2 tonight
|
Just get to the damn World Series so I can actually watch a game on TV. The LCS should be on network tv. I'm so sick of the cable move.
|
Close the deal!

The Yankees and Cubs gave up 19 and 21 runs in the first 4 games, while the Rays gave up 15 and the Royals have given up 16. |
would I be a good boss if I just let everyone go home at 2:30 today?

Go Royals!! Lets close these cry baby D bags out!
After the beating they took yesterday, hopefully the BlueGays are ready to quit. |

Finish them today boys and start making plans to attack the NY pitching!
|
I'm having trouble buying in that Troy Tulowitzki is truly 6' 3" 215lbs. as MLB . com has indicated. He doesn't even look close to that to me.

While clinching at home is sweet, the Jays look ready to quit. You could see it Monday night when the Royals made a game out of a blow out in the 9th. They look scared, and don't know how to slow the Royals down when they hit their groove. The Royals picked up yesterday right where they left off, and never let up. The Jays look like they have already lost this series in their heads.
All that being said, the Royals need to keep the throttle down, do what they do, and win this thing today before those damn Canadians get any life back. |
In for the clinching WIN.
Volquez feels sexy today, throws 6 strong, and the bullpen holds on for our 2nd trip to the World Series in as many years. |

So, this many of you guys don't have TV and don't get Fox Sports 1? Really?
Just download the Fox Sports One app, get a friends cable or direct tv provider info. |
|
Lets end this today!! Keep on keepin on! Lets go Royals!!!
|
TIME TO PUT THE HAMMER DOWN!!!!

I love our chances obviously, but the Jays just came off a series they were down 2, going on the road and won 3 straight to advance. They've done it before. We're better than Texas, but we need to continue to press them.
|
I foresee a Royal beat down part Deux!

Yeah, it sucks, especially when they put games on channels that aren't on standard tiers, like MLBN.... but, there are several workarounds, so it's not like completely screws people out of watching the games. I've let people use my Slingbox and had it setup at my parents' for a while when I traveled all the time, and know of people who have done something similar when they move out of town. If it wasn't for live sports, I definitely wouldn't have cable... the only show I'm currently watching is The Walking Dead, and I could get by waiting for it on Netflix. |

I really dislike the Toronto fans. Even still most of their fanbase on the forum still think what the royals are doing is pure luck.
