Alex Smith has a sore thumb

Let the conspiracy theories start about an excuse to pull him this week.....

Rasputin 10-23-2015 12:45 AM

Oh hell yeah & I'm going to the game all of a sudden I'm excited for it

BOOM

Hell

YEAH.

I'm no Chase Daniel fan but this made this game funner to watch and Chase can be fun to watch but I'm hoping Aaron Murray suits up and gets a chance **** yeah.

Alex Smith on disabled list with sore vagina

This just made this weekend better.

Oh shit!!!!!

Ming the Merciless 10-23-2015 12:52 AM

This makes things worth watching!!!!!

mdchiefsfan 10-23-2015 12:54 AM

He was a full participant in practice. Wouldn't be surprised if he still starts.

007 10-23-2015 01:13 AM

http://www.kcchiefs.com/team/injury-report.html

Yet he is still doing the full practice. They are not pulling him Sunday.

dls6501 10-23-2015 01:19 AM

YOu mean injury report not disabled list. Lol

Got me all excited and shit. Hahaha

pr_capone 10-23-2015 01:20 AM

He will play. Barring injury, or the fans storming the field soccer style and bludgeoning Alex themselves, he will finish the season. I would not be surprised if he isn't starting next season and then gets the hook mid season. Hopefully for Murray or 1st round pick QB (hAHhAHaHHAHHaHHhaHhHAH!).

Rasputin 10-23-2015 01:30 AM

Are you ****ing kidding me ?

Seriously.

You can find the post where I said he should be been fired after week 2.

I meant it.

BigBeauford 10-23-2015 04:31 AM

Alright this explains his poor play this season. I bet when his thumb feels better, everything will be okay.

No JC and no Maclin. Chase would be killed as well. This game is a lock for the Steelers and I am happy about it.

Dumping Andy now does nothing. His pay check is also to big to get rid of him just like Smith's. Both of them will be back next year because Clark does not have the guts to do anything else.

They both should be gone but the dead money with Smith would be like 25 mil and Andy is on a 5 year deal at 7 mil per year I think. Chump change to Clark but he just begged Andy to come here less than three years ago. He has no way near the stones to dump him yet.

Well considering chase has proven he is nothing more than a shorter fatter Alex smith, it would be expected.

Games are fixed, remember. We will only go 1-15 if that is what the league has set up for KC.

Sweet Daddy Hate 10-23-2015 08:21 AM

That depends on what the league wants the plot to be for the would-be WINNERS. The LOSERS, like the Chiefs, don't really matter unless they get caught in the narrative.

The Cardinals and 49er games last year are prime examples.

There is a whole Brokeback Mountain "I wish I could quit you" thing vibe with those two.

Hmmm...perhaps some CP-ers with mad Photo Shop skills could create an updated movie poster.:hmmm:

Chiefs | Jeremy Maclin expected to be cleared

Fri, 23 Oct 2015 06:05:43 -0700

Kansas City Chiefs WR Jeremy Maclin (concussion) is expected to receive clearance from the concussion protocol Friday, Oct. 23, and play in Week 7.

Fantasy Tip: Maclin ($7,600, 15.2% of cap) has a decent matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers and is a solid WR2 on FantasyScore.

Alex Smith is on pace for 4200 yards this year while running for his life at the same time.

What; 4200 yards, 6 TDs and 9 INTs??

ROFL

You can't make this shit up.

Only in today's NFL could a probable 3-5 win team have a 4k yd passer not named Dan Fouts, Marino, or Jeff George.

Actually he's on pace for 4200 yards
16 TD's
8 int's

Sorry, but it's true.

Serious question - does a pass behind the line of scrimmage count as a TD for the QB as well as for the player that caught it?

If it's a forward pass yes. So if Smith is at the 10 yard line and the LOS is the 20 yard line and Smith it's Maclin at the 15 yard line it's a forward pass but behind the LOS. This is also known as 90% of what Smith is comfortable with.

Yup.

The pass has to move TOWARD the LOS to be considered a 'forward pass' - it doesn't have to go PAST it.

You know what? I was going to say something like, "Does he also have a sore rectum?" I was going to be more circumspect with the joke. Use a light touch so to speak. But now I can't because you already did it and that really sucks. It just really sucks, man.
