Longest winning streaks in Chiefs history
Behold every winning streak of 5+ games in Chiefs history. I'd like to see victories over Cleveland and Oakland.
1968 - 6 games 1968 - 5 games (2nd independent winning streak that season) 1969 - 7 games 1971 - 5 games 1984-1985 - 5 games (crossed over two seasons) 1995 - 7 games 1997 - 6 games 2003 - 9 games 2013 - 9 games 2014 - 5 games 2015 - 10 games and counting (Edited) |

I've just got this sinking feeling about the Oakland game . It's setting up to give them the last laugh and knock us out of the playoffs.
It sucks that we expect shit like that too. |
We get cursed at 9-0 so I want to win 10 in a row.

I expect this team to finish 11-5 and win one or two playoff games. As good as this team is playing, they are not the best team in NFL. It's extremely unlikely that this team will win the Super Bowl, because it's damn hard to win the Super Bowl, and there are several teams who are better. Carolina is better. Arizona is better. A healthy New England team is better. Pittsburgh may turn out to be better. Cincinnati could be better. What sucks is that when this team eventually does lose and this magnificent turnaround season ends, there are going to be some dickheads around here who will cum in their pants at the chance to say "See, I told you so", and "Because Chiefs". Last Spring when I was in Las Vegas I put $50 on the Chiefs to win the Super Bowl. That's a 40-1 bet, so I win $2,000 if the Chiefs beat all odds and win the Super Bowl. If a 40-1 underdog pulls off a historic comeback, wins their division, and wins a playoff game or two, you would think their fans would appreciate the accomplishment. But there will be plenty of fans around here who will start the bitch-fest all over again if this team doesn't win the Super Bowl. |

Count me in right there with ya, Buehler. It's nice to be winning games, but refuse to give one single **** until we rid ourselves from the stank of this playoff win-less streak. We are broaching 22 ****ing years between playoff wins. 22! Tie down a playoff win, and I will be a believer. Until then, here's a modest golf clap as I pretend to give a shit ................ |
I agree with Lex only I spread $50 between division/afc and super bowl. I see this year as already a good year because most of the talent is there, they've made some noise and garnered some attention. Be a dream come true if they make deep into the playoffs. Maybe next offseason some of the Chiefs players up for FA will want to stay for a chance and outside FA's might be interested in coming here to fill out the weak spots and make a run for a ring. KC has made itself a much more attractive place to play for next few years.

It's KC's year.

I remember KC's last playoff win, but I wasn't old enough to appreciate it. I really feel like this is the year we end that drought. Where we go from there, who knows....

And, yes, we can rag on them jumping ship, but most here praised (and I said MOST) Kaepernick. So anyone that thought Kaepernick was better than Smith has no room to rag on the Smith followers (just speaking generally; nothing specifically towards you, Pest.) |
The Chiefs playoff-win drought is older than I am.
Make history (for me), Cheufs. |

DO YOU HAVE ANY ****ING IDEA OF CHIEFS-RAIDERS HISTORY? check the history understand the lore and legends Merry Christmas |

By the time the Chiefs played the Vikings in Super Bowl IV, I was 11 years old and an avid Chiefs fan. I am well aware of the history between the Chiefs and the Raiders. I saw a Chiefs team beat the Raiders in the AFC Championship Game in 1969 when the Raiders finished the regular season 12-1-1 and beat the Chiefs twice. I saw Ben Davidson spear Len Dawson at the end of a game in 1970 after Dawson had run for a first down that would ice the victory. When Otis Taylor defended his quarterback the referees called offsetting penalties, the down had to be replayed, the Chiefs DIDN'T get the first down, and the Raiders came back to tie the game and knock the Chiefs out of the playoffs. I've seen Marv Hubbard, a very mediocre running back, always seem to turn into Gale Sayers whenever the Raiders played the Chiefs. I watched Marty Schottenheimer turn the Chiefs into a team that beat the Raiders every time they played, and I watched Rich Gannon leave the Chiefs and become the NFL MVP in Oakland. I've seen it all. I'm well aware of the history. I hate the ****ing Raiders even more than I hate the ****ing Broncos, and I know there's a chance the Raiders will beat the Chiefs in week 17, especially if Houston and Hali are both out. That's why I'll be a happy fan if the Chiefs run the table in the regular season and win at least one playoff game. |

He was a punishing runner that probably averaged more ypc than Earl Campbell. He just didn't sustain that for more than 3 or 4 years. |

Our 4 man pass rush is too bad to make any noise in the playoffs as it stands

ahh i see we didnt make the playoffs in 84 got it (so there were no playoff games that year...I falsley assumed we lost a playoff game that year LOL) |

Its just truly impressive to start the season the way they did, then end it the way they did... it really shows what kind of heart and resilience this team has.
To go from 1-5 to the playoffs tells me they have what it takes to go all the way. NEVER SAY DIE |

It's a true testament to how great a leader Andy Reid is. |
1. 2015 - 10 games
2. 2003 & 2013 - 9 games 3. 1969 & 1995 - 7 games 4. 1968 & 1997 - 6 games 5. 1968, 1984-85, 2014 - 5 games |
Our defense is badass. If we can get everyone back, we'll be lethal in the playoffs.
