OBJ: Passionate player or basket case?
|
He's a nut. From Bills corner Stephon Gilmore last year:
“I don’t know what’s up with him. He acts like nobody’s supposed to hit him and you’re supposed to let him catch the ball. He’s weird. He gets mad when you play physical with him. He’s weird. “He’s different. It’s kind of like you’re playing your little brother and he gets mad at you for being too physical with him — throwing a tantrum. I’m like, ‘Man, we’re playing football. It’s a physical game. […] He’s a prima donna. He feels like he’s on top of the world and nobody’s supposed to do anything to him.” |
IS he a wide receiver?
headcase |
the great ones are always a little bit eccentric
like Peters |
OBJ has a little of that young Chad Johnson in him. Chad never really hurt anything, but he was a diva on the field because he cared.
|
Ill take 3 of him on my team.
Especially not concerned with the last pic of him "caring" I want players who care and want to win...rather than collect a paycheck. |
Basket
Im the mold of other WRs |
His stupid ass hair tells me everything to know about him. Only a complete idiot and/or an attention whore would wear his this way.

Do you generally tend to have a negative view of his antics or positive? |
The offense he's currently in has taken away the one thing he's truly great at (catching the deep ball.)
|
Clearly passionate and eccentric as well. He's simply different.
Just like Peters, he needs to learn to control his emotions a little bit better when things are not going his way. Then he will be fine. |

He's a ****ing idiot
|
Dude's possibly the most talented receiver the league has ever seen. I'd take him as well. I've just noticed that he seems to be a crybaby ass bitch and probably kind of weird as NWO's quoted from Bills players would indicate.
It's generally harmless but he definitely specifically targeted Josh Norman's head, punched a Bills player, and caused a pretty big brawl in a game against the Rams last season. I immediately thought of Dez Bryant after seeing his tantrum yesterday. He's mellowed out incredibly over the past couple seasons, as did Randy Moss, so there's hope for OBJ to mature. |

It's debatable, I think. |

I feel the same way about him as I did about Sterling Sharpe. He's not the best in the league yet but he could be one of the best all time.
But right this minute Antonio Brown is better. |
Moss produced big during the pre-defensive holding NFL, and they also didn't allow the super stickem' gloves like they do now.
Beckham couldn't carry Terrell Owen's jock, much less be compared to Randy Moss. |

Good gravy, now that's a match up that's sure to be epic. I'm half worried MP would go all OBJ on OBJ. |

Week in & out the other team knows AB's gonna be targeted but yet he's very seldom slowed down. |
Quote:
Never mind the fact that both these players had huge swaths of time when they didn't do jack. And I LOVE me some Randy Moss. But don't forget the Raiders years. |
Quote:
He wouldn't be making the highlight reel catches without those gloves, either. |
I think gifs two and three should get him fined at least. He should also be made aware that this type of behavior is going to put an even bigger target on him to have those types of treatments done back to him or worse and when it happens that he had it coming to his bitch ass.
|
Total head case...

Could you kindly point Jeremy Maclin a the nearest store that carries those? |

Kidding He will pull it together. |

Passion and talent is a great combination, I'd bet on this kid every time. Of course his antics are a pain in the ass right now, but over time I think he matures and becomes an even better player.

I love the kid on and off the field. If he's not gay, he sure doesn't give a **** if people think he is.

In fact, it was a big topic after Beckham made that catch. I am not making this shit up. Take 2 minutes to do a little research. HOLY SHIT, LOOK AT WHO IS IN THE PHOTO OF THIS TOP SEARCH RESULT! http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2015/8/3...ckham-jr-catch |

Definitely. It seems like he's trolling everyone at this point if he isn't actually gay. Especially after singing Sexual Healing in the hot tub with another dude. |

Well rumor is he likes men.

And the gloves today should be ****ing illegal. I can make one handed grabs with them. |
Not worth the trouble. He will get you to the playoffs then break your heart.

It also makes what his receivers did that much more impressive. Clayton and Duper weren't huge guys. |
