Hey guys, our goldens had 11 puppies over the weekend. To better keep an eye on them during working hours (I'm coming home every day at lunch), we set up a webcam.

A big dog just showed up.

The big dog is lying down next to the little dogs. There's chaos right now.

Two puppies went the wrong way! They're lost! They're all the way on the wrong side of the blanket!

Now a cat just walked by!

I've already got a waiting list. Was amazing how many people wanted one.

BUY A KIDDIE POOL NOW.
One of those plastic blue bastards.

The pups can't get out in a week and half once they start waking and it gives momma dog some more room.

Then you'll want to make your own feeding kennel when they get a bit bigger and can start jumping.
Use wood or hard plastic so they won't chew it. Never plywood or anything that can splinter.

Cedar is usually my choice. It absorbs the puppy stink.

The funniest part though, is the conversation it generated far exceeded the action on camera

are you worried about the pup on the right not eating? Looks like the runt and how many tits on a dog? 10 tits and eleven dogs?

We try to keep an eye on them. Any time I see one off on his own I move him back over to eat. I'll go take a look though.

Then how do we watch the dogs at night? That's when some of the most dangerous predators are active.

I don't think I have night vision anyway :( just a cheap 20$ camera from amazon.

One of the best dogs for sure. Mine are more medium sized. Dad and mom weigh about 70 lbs each.

I had a golden that weighed in at around 110 while I was in the Air Force. Not fat either.

Not to alarm you, but many of the puppies seem to be attacking the mom's stomach area. It seems to be a coordinated attack that they have set up. They've placed markers on the mom to signify weak points in her stomach that almost look like nipples.

Rest easy everyone, the attack has been called off for nap time.

They sleep too much. You should get them checked out. ;)

Andy Reid runs the feeding plan. The runt will get his milk 3-4 times a day by hanging out on the right edge like that, but it will be ineffectively squirted at him from the mother at a bad time when all the other pups will see it coming.

Mama is kicking the Scheiss out of the pups.

The attack is back on.

It's amazing how fast they grow. They've more than doubled in size in 4 days.

It's a pretty simple life for mama. Nice diversion. I love Goldens. I have a 5 year old girl...sweetest thing.

We had a breakout! One of the puppies crawled out on the left side. Mommy went over there but I couldn't see what she did. I don't think she got that one back though.

She must have put the escapee back, I count 11 little heads. Crisis averted by a good mother!

Cool, I was wondering what the cat's name is.

Do we get to name the puppies? If so, can you move the camera closer so we can better understand their personalities and character?

They'll have collars in week or so. Each with a unique color to keep track.

In a couple weeks they're moving down to the basement, so they can run around to their hearts content.

As for naming, current plan is to name them for members of the 2015 Royals.
