Peters could back up colquitt

Hell of a punt into the stands

Worth 5 yards ROFL

DaFace 11-13-2016 03:32 PM

That was ****ing stupid. He did it a week or two ago and got away with it. I can't imagine the coaches wouldn't have said something to him about it then. Hopefully he gets an earful about it this week as well.

Yeah it was, thankfully Ware had a nice run to make the field goal closer.

Bowser 11-13-2016 03:34 PM

Peters needs to have his ass beat by Colquitt the next time he pulls some stupid shit like that.

RealSNR 11-13-2016 03:35 PM

I will take every "stupid" play by Kelce and Peters because those guys are playmakers.

I can't get mad at Peters. That's the kind of player he is. He's my boy. Flopnuts and I love him very much, like only a mother and father can.

He's my sweet boo, and if you complain about this shit that he does, then you're a boring fan.

Marcus Peters gave us a W. You're ****ing welcome.

Out of curiosity what kind of handicap does Colquitt get? Peters would murder that guy in a fair fight lol.

Yeah but he's gotta cut that shit out. Could have been a disaster.

TribalElder 11-13-2016 03:36 PM

I was in disbelief but then the flag was only 5 yards so I lol'd

FloridaMan88 11-13-2016 03:38 PM

That play wasn't as stupid as Alex Smith passing the ball after catching the deflected pass.

For a supposedly smart QB, Alex Smith's inability to read through basic progressions and committing a stupid double forward pass penalty was amateurish.

Agreed. I haven no idea WTF he was thinking there.

Yeah, that was dumb as ****. As was him missing a wide the hell open Kelce for the winning touchdown.

BlackHelicopters 11-13-2016 03:44 PM

Result was eventually good. Can't fault him.

Saccopoo 11-13-2016 03:44 PM

Incredibly stupid. If that was a 15 yard penalty, which it easily could have been, it would have cost the team the field position required for the field goal. Even the five yards could have been significant.

It was not worth anything. Even the five yards could have been a serious deal. And while his strip was the difference maker from a positive standpoint, he could have nullified it with the penalty yardage.

He's got to be a more mature player.

However, this was the guy that they drafted. Amazing talent, but there was the chance that his kind of stuff could happen.

And he was getting roasted by the Carolina offense for a lot of the game, especially early. He also dropped a sure pick six.

Other than the strip, he didn't have a very good game and could have offset the strip/field position with penalty yardage on a seriously bone headed play that didn't and shouldn't have happened.

I love his passion. It makes him the player he is, but he's got to get smarter and play the game in a more mature fashion to truly be great, which he can be.

I'm just hoping he was rusty after the week off. He certainly was as shaky today as he's been all season.

Agreed on both counts.

On a kinda related note, how much did Alex miss Maclin today? Even Maclin isn't putting up monster numbers, he still commands double teams, and Alex seems to operate way more smoothly out there when Maclin is on the field (week old rust notwithstanding).

Definitely. Even in our games this year where other teams took both Maclin and Kelce completely out of it, we were able to move the ball because that opened up a lot for our other guys.

Sannyasi 11-13-2016 04:18 PM

The 5 yard penalty was good situational awareness by the refs. They could have got him for a 15 yard penalty, but I think the refs realized that he had just made the play of the game and it was an emotional moment, so they decided to be lenient.

Buehler445 11-13-2016 04:23 PM

It's like a dime piece being a touch crazy. You'll put up with a little crazy to **** hot.

You'll put up with a little Peters to get the great plays.

Until it costs us a game. Peters is a great player and I love that the Chiefs drafted him. Still, he needs to be smart. Same with Kelce. That was just plain idiotic.

Rain Man 11-13-2016 04:27 PM

Cairo Santos has bailed out Kelce and Peters in two consecutive weeks now. They should be buying him a Rolex or something.

Yep, if Ware hadn't gotten that big gainer the next play Peter's stupidity could have really cost us.

In reality, if it does cost us, we probably wouldn't have been in the game without him.

Demonpenz 11-13-2016 05:16 PM

LOL people "Other than the strip he didn't have a good game" Other than Reggie Jacksons 3 homerun game he batted .230 in that world series.

Demonpenz 11-13-2016 05:17 PM

I don't think some people can grasp the fact that these players play with such an edge and insanity they can just switch it off. Listen mother ****ers They are out there murdering themselves andothers in the weight room, in film room, in practice, on the field. Taking n the best of the best. They ain't going to switch off that motor.

He was far from great today but jeez, these receivers need to learn how to catch perfectly thrown passes.

How so??

KCCHIEFS27 11-13-2016 05:35 PM

Atleast he didn't throw anything at the official. Completely different situation. The messed up part is, if he wasn't on the field of play and punted it then there wouldn't have even been a penalty at all.

That's a perfect description of Alex Smith.

Under a no pressure or no stress situation he is fantastic but put a little stress or pressure on him & he is a stumbling bumbling fool.

He was getting roasted? He got beat once. Other than that the Panthers just ran a bunch of slants and Cam put the ball in perfect places.

I immediately thought it was 15, and the way the offense was playing I thought we were ****ed.
